The property was pretty much as described - perfectly located, very spacious and well maintained. There were several things that were a bit lacking - for example, the kitchen was inconsistently supplied, and its size and amenities made it difficult to cook for the seven of us. It would have been helpful if there were more local information, such as places to buy groceries, restaurants and other recommendations. There is neither internet nor cell service in the house, though it has a land line for local calls. Finally, we were unlucky to be in Door County for the alewife die-off when dead fish covered the shore, limiting beach access - we are told that this does not happen every year.
Aside from the above minor inconveniences, we would recommend the house for families or large groups seeking a modern and convenient vacation retreat.
The house was PERFECT!! Just as described, clean and well maintained and BEAUTIFUL views!! We had a fantastic time... I, personally, have been to DC many time and this was, by far, the best experience I have had. Everyone kept telling me what a great reunion I planned, how much they LOVED the houses, and how perfect DC is!
Thank you for helping to make all that possible!!
I would recommend this property to anyone! Very nice house and the owners are a pleasure to deal with.
