Wonderful Spot to Stay

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our night. Even though the hobby farm is located close to the highway, we never even knew it. The cabin is spacious and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay and to prepare your own meals. Sasha and her husband are great hosts and enjoyed getting to meet them. We used this rental a place to stay on our way to Yellowstone. Prefect spot. About 20 minutes down the road on the way to Yellowstone NP there is a great little bakery and coffee shop for breakfast.

Beautiful & Relaxing Week

  • 5 of 5

My husband, son (12), daughter (15), and I stayed here for a week in July. We enjoyed our time at the cabin and nearby activities more than our time inside Yellowstone. Our children loved spending time and learning about the animals that Sasha and Nate care for. They have a beautiful program that truly warmed our hearts. The deck in the evening was so relaxing and beautiful. Nights were cool and days were warm. Didn't even need the air on, the cool evenings were perfect for sleeping. You couldn't help waking up smiling when you hear the animals in the morning. We spent time at one of the Yellowstone River access's nearby. The kids swam and we relaxed. Definitely recommend it! We also saw a black bear on a random drive one evening!! The Cabin has everything you need. We cooked meals almost every night. Definitely recommend stopping at the cabin before shopping. Many things we bought were already there. The General Store in Emigrant will fullfill all your needs, is reasonably priced, and only a few short miles away. Thank you Sasha and your whole team for your kindness and making us feel at home! We really enjoyed our stay

Truly an amazing, one-of-a-kind Montana experience

  • 5 of 5

The pictures of the property don't do it justice! Three of us stayed four nights in early August 2016 and all agreed the cabin and location exceeded our expectations. Downloaded the HomeAway app prior to the trip and found the cabin was easy to locate using the directions provided. The owner greeted us upon our arrival and was super friendly. They are very relaxed in regards to the animals on the property. We felt comfortable and welcomed to walk around and see the different animals in their enclosures and there's even a handout in the cabin letting guests know which animals they can feed and which types of food to give them if they wish to do so. There is another, larger cabin on the property that is next door to the rental cabin that people do live/stay in (I'm assuming the owners live there?). However, they are very respectful of guests' privacy and the only time we ever saw anyone else walking around the property was when it was time to feed the animals. We drove into Yellowstone National Park each day (which is approx 40 min away) and often returned after dark. It was actually nice knowing someone was on the property watching over things and even made coming home after dark in the remote area feel safer. The cabin was very clean with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen (plenty of silverware, pots and pans, various spices, microwave, full size fridge, and coffee maker). We had great cell service and wifi connections while at the property. Service was basically nonexistent in Yellowstone Park which makes the cabin very convenient and accommodating to anyone who may need to stay in daily contact with home for personal/family/business matters. Would highly recommend the property to anyone looking to visit the area and really experience Montana while avoiding the crowds of Yellowstone and local hotels.
