|Minimum Stay||2 - 3 nights|
* Sleeps 8 (including pull-out couch)
This charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath, newly remodeled Turn-of-the-Century
Cottage, is located on the North Shore of Geneva Lake between
Fontana and Williams Bay. It sleeps 8 with a king, queen, two twins, and a pull-out couch.
The home has a lovely kitchen that is fully equipped and a dining
area that seats 8. There is a large living room, a screened porch
and a patio that is perfect for morning coffee!
This house is everything it claims to be..and more. We loved the overall campus setting that it's on. The house is warm, quaint, well equipped and just minutes away from Fontana and Chucks or The Abbey and a simple right turn puts you in Williams Bay and several options there. Plenty of room for the kids. Great bathrooms, showers and comfy beds. Nice large screen TV and Internet (if you choose that direction) as well as a nice stash of board games. Bring your walking shoes as the trails are there and ready. Outstanding owners that are quick to respond and true to their word. We WILL be back.
Wonderful time as always. The property is well maintained and very clean and all the amenities that you could possibly need. Location is right next to the lake and walking area and the town is only a couple of minutes away, all very convenient. I would highly recommend a stay at the Green House to my friends and family.
Love this location. Gives you immediate access to the water and is tucked away from any type of traffic. House is perfectly set up for a weekend getaway. Great grill, cooking utensils, overall very cleanly and tidy. Definitely will be coming back.
My wife and I and our two adult children took advantage of the nice weather at the end of September and booked a quick weekend getaway at the Green House. Carol was there to greet us and showed us the property. Carol is very friendly and was always close by if we needed anything. The cottage sits at the back of the property but is only a short walk to the lake. The house has a great cottage feel and we were able to open the windows and feel the nice fall breeze through the house. The cottage is well maintained and was very clean with newer appliances and upgraded Windows. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and pots and pans for cooking. We cooked all our meals in the cottage. We brought our boat and docked it at their pier which was a real plus for us. We also took advantage of the pathway along the lake and walked to Fontana for the annual antique boat show. We would definitely recommend the Green House for a summer vacation or weekend get away.
Carole and Rex were wonderful hosts. The property was spotless and very inviting. There was plenty of room and very cozy. The Green House has everything you would need to have an amazing time in the area. Being from there originally, I had high expectations. Carole and Rex's "Green House" exceeded them by leaps and bounds. My only reluctance, is that somebody else will have booked this property the next time my family want to visit. Don't miss out! Thanks Carole and Rex.

The Green House on Lake Geneva was delightful. The cottage has clearly been well cared for and carefully maintained. There is an easy trip to the dock for lake activities and a short walk to a small sandy beach that is particularly good for young children. One of the bedrooms is an old-time sleeping porch that has been updated to have the feel a country cottage while having the convenience of a large closet, air conditioning (that we really didn't need at night) with lots of windows to enjoy the surrounding woodland area. Lake Geneva has golf, boating, hiking, fishing, shopping, and excellent restaurants from casual pubs to more formal fare. Our family loved it and we can give an unqalified recommendation to couples for a getaway or families with children.

The clear, blue water of Geneva Lake is popular for swimming,
boating and sailing. Boats and wave runners may be rented in nearby
Fontana. A popular activity is 'hiking' the 26 mile shore path of
Geneva Lake. You may also want to take a Boat Tour to get another
view of the mansions along the Shoreline.
Golf, tennis, bicycling, antiquing, shopping and even horseback
riding are within 10 - 15 minutes of the 'Green Cottage'. The
public beaches are easily accessible if you are more interested in
sand and sun! In the winter, there is skiing and snowboarding nearby at Alpine Valley! There are many great restaurants in the area too!
