-Cozy new furniture in the upstairs living room!

-New flatscreen TVs with full cable in all bedrooms!

Enjoy peace and quiet at Whispering Canyon, a semi-secluded log cabin situated on over 1.7 acres, including a private walking trail, with a mountain view. This spacious cabin has four bedrooms each with private bathroom and large living rooms on both floors.

The upper level has a living room with comfortable leather sofas and recliners for ten guests to enjoy a warm fire or watch your favorite show on a 50-inch TV. The dining room overlooks the surrounding area through a wall of windows and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances is perfect for cooking family reunion meals or light snacks. Enjoy morning coffee or a late night bite at a cozy breakfast table. The two bedrooms upstairs feature one king and two queen beds, well appointed furnishings, TV’s, and closets. Vaulted ceilings give a spacious feel and double sliding glass doors provide easy access to the large wrap around deck.

A second family can stay downstairs in two large bedrooms, with a king and two queen sized beds, private baths, and closets. The lower floor has a living room filled with fun activities and has a fifth bathroom. Watch football on a 50-inch TV, play on the 60 game arcade or bring your favorite movie and enjoy it with a surround sound system. For a more challenging time, play a game of billiards and there are plenty of board games and puzzles for keeping the gang occupied on a rainy day. Or just relax as you enjoy a second fireplace.

This two level arrangement makes a perfect combination for giving multiple families lots of space and privacy. If you enjoy being outdoors away from neighbors, this cabin is home. Have a morning coffee or evening glass of wine out on the upper or lower wrap-around deck or just relax in one of the many rocking chairs. There are even some smaller sized chairs for children to enjoy a snack. Cook steaks or burgers on the charcoal barbeque and eat outside. Whispering Canyon sits on over 1.7 acres, so after an afternoon hike on the property’s small nature trail, relax in the hot tub for eight guests. It's perfect for melting away the stresses of life!

About Whitney Howard

Whitney Howard and Christine Randles are the co-owners of Whispering Canyon cabin as well as best friends. They have been traveling to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area since they were kids and have always loved the area. In 2015, they decided to make their dreams come true and bought this beautiful cabin that they can bring their families to and that will allow them to share their love of the area with other families.

Why Whitney Howard chose Sevierville

Top 5 reasons why we LOVE Whispering Canyon:

5.) There are no scary, winding mountain roads to try your luck at. Whispering Canyon sits off of a one-way road that gently slopes up to the cabin and back down to the main road.

4.) It is private enough that you don't have to worry about disturbing or being disturbed by your neighbors (you can hardly see other cabins through the trees), yet it's close enough to other cabins to still feel safe.

3.) It is so spacious! Up to 12 people can sleep in beds with 5 full bathrooms to share. The common areas and decks on both levels have so much room to spread out and relax while still being jam-packed with fun activities for the whole family.

2.) Location, location, location! When staying at Whispering Canyon, you never have to get into the crazy traffic on the Parkway unless you just want to cruise up and down looking for something fun to do. We can provide you with detailed directions (or you can just use your GPS) for how to take backroads to avoid traffic.

1.) It truly feels like a home away from home.

We have stayed in many cabins in the area over the years. Many have had cheaply built walls and floors where you can hear a whisper in the next room, many have been in cluttered cabin neighborhoods where your neighbor can literally see right into your cabin from theirs, and many have been in areas where heavy traffic is unavoidable. Whispering Canyon has NONE of these attributes. We truly love this cabin, and we cannot wait to share it with you!

Beautiful retreat!

  • 5 of 5

This home was the perfect getaway for my family vacation 2018. With 7 adults and 4 kids we had plenty of room to gather for game time or plenty of room if you needed to find a little hideaway for a few minutes alone. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and one in the game room. That was AWESOME!!! We were 15 to 20 minutes from all major activities yet far enough out to enjoy the quietness at night. I have to also mention how beautiful the wrap around porch was. My Autistic grandson who is a "pacer" walked every inch of that wrap around porch. Every few minutes he would pass in front of you while you took in ALL the beauty.

Awesome location!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was easily accessible and in a great location to Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We loved that it felt secluded yet was an easy drive to surrounding areas. The cabin was beautiful!

Owner's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed the cabin! We love that about the location too! Just a short scenic drive down back roads to get to the busier areas, then you get to come back to the coziness and privacy of the cabin. Love it! Please come back any time :)

Another Great Family Trip

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at Whispering Canyon and once again we loved it! There was plenty of space and things to do for 7 adults, 2 teens, 1 toddler and 1 infant. The seclusion, yet closeness to activities is perfect. We had a pretty big hiccup our first night there..the septic started backing up in one of the downstairs bathrooms but it was handled great! It was pretty late when I called to inform them but they did have someone out first thing the next morning to fix the issue. We loved the space, hot tub, pool table, games(especially the pictionary) and being able to have our own bathrooms/bedrooms. This was a great, relaxing, fun filled family vacation and would definitely stay here again if we decide to make another family trip back to the area!

Owner's Response: We love that your family comes to our property year after year! We actually look forward to seeing the names of our repeat guests! Whispering Canyon is something that we certainly cherish and get so excited about visiting with our own families and friends. We love that the feeling and experience is now something we share with our clients, especially when they too block time, year after year, to visit Whispering Canyon! Again, thank you so much for your immediate call about any issues during your stay. We were so pleased that we were able to find the main problem and correct it! We even added a routine service to check for any septic issues so that this never happens to another guest! By your quick response we were able to do what we do best, make your stay an excellent experience in The Great Smoky Mountains. We appreciate your family! Thanks again, Whitney and Christine

Very Nice

  • 4 of 5

Loved the cabin! Layout was perfect for our family. A few things we personally didn't like. It took 20-30 minutes to get to town. The washing machine was broke. Couldn't get the fireplaces to work. Overall, I would recommend this cabin. :)

Owner's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! We were not aware of any issues with the washing machine or fireplaces. I most definitely would have sent someone from our crew out immediately to address the issues had I been made aware during your stay. I have already alerted my crew to this review and they are en route to make any necessary repairs. It does take a good 15-20 minutes to get into downtown Gatlinburg by back roads, however we and many of our guests enjoy the location as it is quieter and more private than staying closer to the hustle and bustle of the main parkway. Thank you for your review. Please come back any time.

Wonderful cabin

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Whispering Canyon. Plenty of room for our family of 10 (7 adults, 3 kids), and, in fact, it felt more spacious in person than in the photos. Very secluded, which we loved, but close enough to the 'sights' to be able to do lots. Would definitely stay again if we are back in this area.
