Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
My girlfriend and I stayed at this unit for the weekend and upon walking in, we were extremely happy with the view and cleanliness of the place. Our eyebrows were raised when the water from the bathroom faucets was black but it went away after we left it running for 2-3 minutes. I hope that was just a kink in the pipeline. Everything was smooth sailing for the rest of the trip, we laid out on the beach and just relaxed the entire weekend. I would definitely stay here again since the price and the view is such a steal!!!
I recently rented Sunbird 705 West. It was clean and in a good location. But there was no internet in the room. Had to go to an area near the office to get access to Wifi. Had to purchase parking passes and wrist bans for around $25 when we arrived. There was a sign on the wall in the room over the thermostat that said not to put thermostat lower than 70 degree. The A/C unit would freeze up.The room never got real cool. Room needed ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. My daughter stayed in another unit in Sunbird and it included parking pass and wrist bans and her rental was cheaper than 705 West. It also had ceiling fans. Would not stay here again.
Needs a lot of improvement.
Although the AC was out for a complete 24hrs we didn't let that stop us from having a great time. Aside from that issue the condo was great and in a pretty convenient location! Views were awesome and maintenance was on top of everything. Overall I say it's a great spot for the money
The elevator met us with the smell of cigarettes and urine and as we exited the elevator on our floor, the smell became unbelievably worse as the trash shoot seemed more like the place people were using the bathroom. It smelled like urinal cakes, urine and feces. We were gagging. I took pics of this place because I couldn't believe it.
The condition of the building was poor and as we approached the door of our unit, we were praying that behind the door was not like the rest of what we had already seen. The unit itself was just ok. The carpet seemed very old and dirty. The fridge and stove were dirty and the furnishings were very worn. I guess that when I spend that amount of money for the night that the accommodations would be better. If seeing the water is the only thing you care about then I guess it's the place for you. Not to mention that the free wifi is only if you go downstairs and stand by the office. Parking is an extra. I feel totally ripped off. Maybe I expect too much.
