As an empty nest couple that is there strictly for the ambience of the beach, access to meals that I neither cooked or cleaned up, clean bathroom and clean bed; then this was more than adequate. Reasonable price compared to other units. We rated it as 3 overall as it needs a bit of TLC to not appear tired. If you don't need to pay for rooms and bathrooms you won't be using and aren't going to cook during your stay then this is a great deal!
Our experience was good but could have used more dishes and amenities!!!
Club La Vela
Was pleasantly surprised. Well worth the price. Close to everything, clean room, nice pool and the lady who ran the concession stand was the best. Bring your own towels or you'll be using your dirty ones for your whole trip. Ask for more several times and was told they would bring us some, never saw them.
Smelled clean. That's the best I can give this place. The bedspreads were disgusting. Luckily we brought a blanket to spread out on the beach so we took that gross bedspread off and put it on the bed instead. I do believe the sheets were clean and one bed is fairly comfortable. The other bed may as well be a rock with a sheet on it. If you plan on spending ANY time in the room while on vacation the. You need to keep looking.
