Rustic but PERFECT!

If you want the quintessential old cabin in the mountains, this is your place. The views are spectacular. It is quite rustic, but clean and wonderful just as it is. Sure a larger bathtub would be nice, but there is a shower which is just fine. You have access to a dock and there is space above the dock to be even closer to the views and lake. David is great to work with and gets in touch quickly. This is our third time staying here, and won't be the last.

Memorial Weekend

Our family loves Grand Lake and we stay here any chance we get. We loved Whispering Pine’s and it’s location, charm and proximity to the water and town. Communication with David was excellent! Will definitely stay again.

Nice old cabin by the like

We had a very nice stay here. It's certainly an older house, so don't expect tons of modern comforts, but it's got all the amenities you could want to make for a nice, relaxing time by Grand Lake. One useful note: while the house doesn't have internet, both Verizon and T-Mobile signals were good enough to be usable.

The fireworks rise to 7,500 feet with embers reflecting off the lake and reverberations bouncing off the rocky crags of the surrounding mountains. Bring your blanket, find a comfortable spot, and gaze into the open sky for the glitter and sparkle 4th of July traditionally brings. It is truly an awesome show, one not to be missed!
