Located on the second floor of a newly built condominium complex, this exquisite apartment stands out because of its many popular amenities. For relaxing after a busy day, there is a swimming pool, whirlpool, and sauna as well as a home theater where you can catch your favorite movie. With 986 square feet, this condo has a balcony, laundry and for your convenience, a lower level garage for easy parking.

Luxurious in every way, this apartment is also conveniently located two blocks from the Blue Line light rail station for efficient transit north to downtown Minneapolis, south to the Mall of America, and newly east to the attractions of downtown St. Paul. Also close to Minnehaha Park, Minnehaha Falls and several bike trails, this condo allows you to enjoy the best outdoor recreational activities that the Twin Cities have to offer.

On the premise, there are two apartment buildings. The pool is located on the main floor of the 3625 building and the apartment is located in the another building number 3635. To access the pool, you would have to walk down the stairs to the first floor and walk across the premise for about 40 feet outside into the pool in the another building. In short, the pool area is in another building but the distance is minimal.

Spacious with lots of great amenities. Our boys loved spending an afternoon at the pool (during an April snow storm...was great to have something fun to do)!

Smells and lack of power

As a previous reviewer said, the condo is full of air fresheners and they’re overwhelming. I woke up after our first night with a raging headache due to this. The way the owner explained it in the previous review made it seem like it had only been a temporary fix but that does not seem to be the case.

We also had the unfortunate luck of having a power outage on our full day at the condo. I was unable to get updates from the power company due to the fact that I didn’t have an account. The best they could tell me was to check their website but by the end of the night, it must have been overloading because it wouldn’t load. We contacted the management company and they said we’d get updates but only got one from them as well. This apartment is not set up for a power outage when you have kids. There are a lot of candles but not a single flashlight, lantern or any other battery powered light source. With a very rambunctious 2 year old, we weren’t comfortable having multiple candles going. On top of the fact that we weren’t sure we could continue to use the toilet there was also a winter storm coming and we had no heat with the power off. We asked for suggestions and received no additional responses from the management company until the morning. We ended up having to find an additional place to stay where we were comfortable.

We have experienced a power outage one other time while in a VRBO (we must have bad luck) and were in good communication with the owner and received compensation like you would if the same occurred at a hotel. While we understand power outages are out of all control, we were disappointed by the customer service and lack of communication.

Owner's Response: I am very sorry about any inconveniences the temporary power outage has caused to our guests but we have no control of the power outages. We did provide guest with updates about the electric issue as much it was available to us. Our guest support was in constant contact with guest to ensure guests has everything they need given the circumstances The electric outage was only temporary until 9:30pm. The heating is central air without any relevance to electricity. All other guests in another 3 properties affected by this outage didn't find the power outage any significant to be entitled for compensation. Clearly, this guest was upset we didn't comply to their effort exploit the situation for their self benefit and it has caused this negative review full with false facts to dramatize and unjustly defame us. Great potential but some issues need resolved

This property has a great location, is a quiet unit and nicely decorated. However it is in need of attention. The first of our 5 nights here we were overwhelmed by air freshner. We uncovered 7 air freshners and later found a larger one under the master bed. The situation was tolerable when we put the units in the second bedroom closet. However, when we returned after a day away on our 5th night we opened the door and discovered a sewer-like smell. We then understood the reason for the many air freshners. The smell was so strong that it was difficult to sleep.

Owner's Response: I am very sorry Jill for any inconvenience you may have experienced with the fresheners. They were put in place to help us cope with the guest previously staying who had violated the rules and had smoked on the property. While it has apparently served the purpose without you detecting the smoke smell, we are sorry if we had overdone it. We have also called our maintenance person to detect and address any sewer-like matter if any. Great location large unit.

Everything went great for our stay, the manager made everything easy to arrive and depart. I would recommend this unit for groups up to 4 people (2 bedroom) clean comfortable home.

Fantastic place to stay when you are in the Minneapolis area

This condo is a perfect home away from home. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the management is very accommodating. I could go on and on.

Hubby and I took the grandkids and their parents to the Mall of America and decided to stay in a condo instead of a hotel. What a great choice we made!! More than enough room for all six of us and very close to the Mall. Underground parking was an added bonus since we went in March.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The washer and dryer was a great help on staying up on all the laundry. The kids used the pool every night to wind down from the Mall.

The management was in constant communication. They sent emails regarding neighborhood restaurants and shopping which was very appreciated considering we were new to the area.

I would recommend this condo to anyone traveling in the Minneapolis area

Look no further

We are a BIG family and no longer fit in one hotel room. We decided to look into HomeAway and this was our first experience & we couldn't be more pleased.

First, finding the key was a little bit of a struggle because the main entrance was on the side of the building but a friendly neighbor showed us where it was. I think part of our struggle was that we drove up in a blizzard & were frazzled & ready to relax.

When you walk it the place was very nice, clean, smelled great & had very high ceilings. The under ground parking with 6 little kids was to die for. They never even needed their coats.

The bedrooms were large & well equipped. The pull out couch was nice. The kitchen had enough plates, pots, pans, silverware, glasses and basic cooking spices to allow us to prepare a couple meals & save on fast food/dining out.

Here's a little something they should add to their listing...the pool is open 24/7 & is rarely in use by more than 2 people, if any so it's like having your own pool, hot tub & sauna. It was amazing! You can see the pool area from the bedroom window so you can check if it's busy or not.

I really have nothing negative to say about this property. It was a great first time experience & we will book here again when we return to Minneapolis.
