I work for a government contractor, and have worked in the same industry for over 12 years. Because of work I moved to Baltimore in June 2013, and have fallen in love with this city. Originally I am from Northern VA, but I love local "mom and pop" restaurants, shops and stores that make up this wonderful city. I love the neighborhoods that give each one it's own unique charm. While in Baltimore, make sure to make time to visit Federal Hill, Little Italy, Canton, Fells Point, and Mount Vernon.

This property is ideally located to a lot of exciting, fun and tourist areas. There is no need to have a car when you stay in Otterbein. The neighborhood is quiet, centrally located, and has lovely character that you can only find in Baltimore. The house is well maintained, and I live locally so I can always assist if you have any concerns or questions.
Did I mention the amazing location, historic local charm, filled with light and furnished with every detail considered for you, our guest. Unique opportunity to stay in a quiet community in the heart of the city.
Beautiful place and beautifully furnished and very well-kept and clean! It is very open, lots of natural light, and well-lit. They thought of absolutely everything to make this a pleasant stay for a guest. Plenty of towels, linens, dishes, paper products, soaps, spices, cleaning supplies, extra batteries, lamp bulbs, flashlights, umbrellas! And all of good quality. Even the light switches were all labeled! There was information in the living room and master for wifi access and TV use. We didn't cook but there was a high-quality range/oven and large refrigerator. There were so many unexpected conveniences and it it such a beautiful place that a number of people asked if the owners actually lived here and were surprised when I told them I thought it was exclusively a rental.
This place was incredibly convenient for us. Our daughter was getting married at American Visionary Art Museum and we were even able to walk decorations down to the museum. The keyless locking system was one of the best conveniences. We just gave everyone staying at the place the code and let them come and go as they pleased. We were concerned about parking but never had to park more than 1 block from the apartment.
However, this place is not for anyone with mobility issues. Each floor has a step down to a second level. The stairs to the master on the 3rd floor are steep and make a 90 degree turn at the top. There is not a landing at that turn and so the steps are like those of a spiral staircase - triangular in shape. However, there is a very conveniently placed grab bar at that turn and so we had no problems managing the stairs.
I am not sure when or it we will return to Baltimore, but I would definitely stay here again and recommend it very highly for anyone without mobility issues.
This is a lovely townhouse, beautifully decorated , clean and neat. The bathrooms are nice , clean and well stocked with towels. The beds were very comfortable .
We booked this home in October for our stay in Baltimore during our daughter's wedding and we were delighted with the accommodations. The home is located in a lovely neighborhood with resident parking only. The owner will provide a parking pass for one car. The home is walking distance to restaurants and many venues in Baltimore and has 3 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths, and a laundry. The third floor has a master suite. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and enjoyed the backyard on the warmer days. The home was well supplied with towels and very clean. The owners are available to answer any questions and refunded our deposit to our bank immediately upon our departure. I recommend this home without any reservation. We would not hesitate to book this home again.
This place has a great local feel and is perfectly appointed. A short walk to the inner harbor, Federal Hill, Camden Yard, and the lively scene on Light Street. Plus the Historic Otterbein neighborhood is gorgeous.
We came to town for the Baltimore half marathon and this house was 4 blocks from the start line and 6 blocks from the finish line so it was perfect! The home was well appointed and very comfortable. It fit our needs perfectly. I would highly recommend this rental to friends and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. And, the restaurant recommendations from the owner were spot on!
My family of 8 stayed here for a wedding last month. We appreciated the keyless entry, fully stocked Keurig, parking pass, convenient walk to the stadium, and the owners' meticulous attention to detail! One suggestion would be for a full-size ironing board, however, as it was quite difficult to iron on the travel-size one. Nevertheless, my mother-in-law and parents all raved about the charm of both the neighborhood and the home.
The owners were quick to respond to my questions, and went out of their way to make our stay superb! We would all stay here again in a heartbeat, and probably will, due to our newfound connection to the city of Baltimore. This truly was a 5-star rental!
