About the property

2 The Square Green is a two bedroom luxury apartment on the ground floor of a brand new development in the centre of St Andrews. The apartment is situated in a tranquil location overlooking a bowling green and the Kinnessburn stream. There is designated private parking for one car and the development has a disabled parking space and wheel chair lift to access the main entrance.

The Apartment has flexible accommodation, which is perfect for golfers, two couples or a family visiting St Andrews.

The secure communal entrance door with entry phone access system leads via a hallway to a private front door and hall with large storage cupboard.

There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, living room with bifold doors opening onto a veranda and private south west facing garden. The kitchen has granite worktops and a stylish red splash-back with a range of quality integrated appliances including an oven, microwave and induction hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

There is a solid oak dining table, which can be extended from 4 to 8 diners, for whom there is ample crockery, cutlery and glassware. A comfortable seating area for relaxing, watching the 46 inch wall mounted Samsung smart TV, using the wifi to catch up with emails and social media or listening to music using the bluetooth speaker.

There are two comfortable bedrooms each with large fitted wardrobes and 32inch Sony smart TVs. Both rooms can be made up as either a twin or super-king, one has an ensuite shower room and there is a house bathroom with over bath shower.

The private south west facing garden is accessed from the living room and has a very pleasant aspect looking over the Bowling Club of St Andrews. This will be landscaped and offer an outdoor seating area.

We were 4 male golfers staying 3 nights. The apt was as good as advertised. Clean, comfortable.

We arrived in town early and were able to check in early. Stuart was a great host with excellent advise on places to eat and drink. The apt is an easy walk to restaurants and food market. Nice downhill walk to the golf courses. This is an excellent place for either 2 couples or four individuals. Prior to our stay, emails were promptly responded to. The security deposit was also refunded within a week. I'll be recommending this apt to anyone I know who is planning a trip to St Andrews. Many thanks to Sarah and Stuart for making this option available.

Absolutely fantastic!

Beautiful modern, nicely furnished, clean flat within walking distance to town. Sara met us at the flat to show us around. The bread, eggs, milk, butter, jam, fruit and flowers were a lovely touch and were greatly appreciated. Lovely quiet area to escape from the noisier streets of town. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed watching the lawn bowling in the evenings situated next door to the property. We hope to rent this lovely flat again on our next trip to St Andrews.

Comfortably 5 Star Accommodation

We were very satisfied with our stay at the apartment on Square Green. It is conveniently situated for the town centre, golf, beach etc. The apartment is brand new, very well fitted and furnished to a high standard. We chose self catering this year rather than our usual stay at the Fairmont and I can say without reservation that the standard of accommodation is on a par. No negative points to raise.

great modern gf flat with views over bowling green

this is a modern, clean and spacious gf flat overlooking the bowling green within easy walking distance of the whole of the town including the beach and cathedral ruins.

would definitely stay again when we next vist St Andrews.

What a gem of a find!

Brilliant stay from start to finish, Sarah met us early and showed us around the Flat and told us everything we needed to know. The Flat itself it lovely and modern, with the small things thought of. Very clean and well equipped with everything we needed while we were there. Sarah had even provided some essentials such as milk, bread and eggs which was a lovely touch! If we’re going back to St Andrews we will be staying here again!
