EXTERNAL & AMENITIES
Our home is located in a quiet village on a luxury development of waterside homes known as Shoreside. The house benefits from a large expanse of shared green space as well as a shared ‘beach’ (think shingly/rocky, not sandy) and a Jetty where mooring is possible for small boats and dingy’s.
And you have access to our swimming pool – its 14.5 miles long and 490ft deep; the beautiful Loch Tay…
In addition we have a storage unit which contains a variety of outdoor equipment available free for your use but at your own liability. Available are two kayaks, life jackets, paddles and a few more bits and pieces to come…
WHAT TO DO NEARBY?
Anything and everything. This is probably the outdoor capital of Scotland. Kenmore, just 3 miles down the road, has just about every conceivable outdoor equipment available for hire from bikes to boats, fine dining, pub grub and the outrageously fun HotBox at Taymouth Marina - a giant sauna with access to the Loch; get hot, cool down, grab a drink!
Behind Shoreside is the Ben Lawers and Schiehallion area home to 16 Munros and 6 Corbetts, enough to keep the outdoor enthusiast busy for weeks.
But if theatre or the cinema is your thing, Aberfeldy, a short 9 miles from Shoreside, houses the beautiful art deco Birks Cinema as well as numerous restaurants and coffee shops. A little further afield Pitlochry houses the famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre for all your cultural needs. Oh and don’t forget Whiskey Distilleries abound in this area for those keen on a dram…
