Very comfortable apartment in convenient location
You can’t go wrong booking this apartment! My husband and I and two teenagers felt right at home.
Location was excellent. We walked to Pantheon/Trevi Fountain/Colosseum/VictorEmmanuel Monument with no problem. There is a taxi stand across the street. At 6:30am, there were taxis waiting for passengers and at that time of day was a reasonable 15 minute/12 euro ride to the Vatican. We did not use the Metro but we did walk with our luggage to Termini train station for a 6:00am train upon departure with no problem.
Restaurants, gelato, supermarkets and ATM close by. It felt very safe to walk around in both day and night.
The apartment itself was nicely decorated. The bathrooms were new and the water pressure was excellent. Comfortable beds are a must for me and these were perfect.
I loved the big windows and in October the temperature made it nice to have them open. I would recommend closing them at night because there is a lot of activity at a nearby restaurant as well as traffic. With the A/C on and the windows closed we couldn’t hear a thing and slept very well.
The A/C was operated by remote control which we didn’t know how to work but the owner sent us an English language YouTube video that explained it clearly.
My kids enjoyed the old-fashioned elevator which was very useful since the apartment is on the fifth floor. We used the washing machine, stove and microwave with no problem. If you rent it, you may want to ask about the clothes dryer. I didn’t use the washer myself but my husband said he didn’t see a dryer. I assume it was a combo washer/dryer so an explanation of that for future guests might be useful. We just hung our items up to dry on the heated towel rack.
It was a relief to be staying somewhere away from the main tourist-packed areas. Highly recommend this lovely apartment!
Spotless, Well-situated, and Roomy Apartment
Upon our arrival at the airport in Rome, we took a train to Termini, from which we had an easy walk, with luggage, to Moma Domus. We were greeted there by our host, who helped us with our bags, showed us the way to the elevator that serves the apartment, and got us situated. He remained with us to provide some welcome tips on navigating the city. We found the apartment to be very well situated for our needs: a family of five with three adults and two teens, walking distance to the few sites we included in our brief 3-day, 2-night itinerary in Rome. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and cool, which was a welcome respite from the heat of the city. We highly recommend Moma Domus to other travelers!

External noise from the piazza made sleeping sometimes difficult between 23:00 and 2:00
clean and modern
The building itself has a lot of character. It's situated next to a historic church on a busy square. Great for people watching. Good food and drink just steps away. Take either the stairs or small elevator to the 5th floor condo. The owner met us to give us a tour of the unit and explain the appliances. Everything was perfect. Rome is a very walk-able city and most historic sites are within reach on foot. Would highly recommend the "Moma Domus" condo as your base station for a trip to remember.
We stayed at this lovely place while visiting Rome. Fantastic place.
Wonderful stay and the manager was always accessible if needed. Really great place. Plenty of room. Air conditioning worked great. Highly recommend!
Really nice property on the 5th floor, situated 5 minutes from Termini and within walking distance of most tourist attractions.
Great restaurants and bars nearby plus supermarkets round the corner.
Being in the centre of Rome there was noise at night which may affect light sleepers.
We had a great time and would recommend the apartment.
