About Vacasa, VT - Lake Champlain Islands Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Beautiful Getaway on Lake Champlain

  • 5 of 5

Had a fantastic Christmas and New Years overlooking the wintry wonderland of Lake Champlain! With its two big family rooms, three full baths, plus good-sized kitchen and dining room, the house was plenty big and had everything we could want - comfortably accommodating 8 of us.

Cozy fireplace to warm up after some frigid walks and pond hockey made it the perfect holiday retreat.

The spot on Keeler's Bay in South Hero, VT, is close to beautiful and eclectic downtown Burlington, that had plenty to offer in the way of shopping, dining, arts, and recreation. But it's also close to great places to visit right on the Island - definitely recommend Keeler's Bay Variety Store for picking up good food and drinks, McKee's pub for some really friendly service, and what seemed to be some great local restaurants - though make reservations, since we couldn't get a table at Blue Paddle...

We loved our stay, and can easily imagine how great it must to vacation in the summer.

Loved the lake views

  • 5 of 5

Five family adults, good setup, only one bedroom on main floor, so if steps are a concern, be aware of that. Loved the outdoors especially.

Keelers Bay Hooray!!!

  • 5 of 5

Couldn't have asked for a better location. The views and the quaint, quiet, and adorable little town the beautiful home was in. Thank you to the homeowners and vacasa for providing us with a relaxing and well needed little get away. Stay in this house you will not regret it!

Lovely location

  • 4 of 5

House had had a minimal cleaning... it was not "well cleaned" Hot tub is in poor condition and could not be used most of the week. However, the location is lovely and the house is nicely furnished and has terrific outside space - deck, dock, yard. Water is easily accessible and the kids had a ton of fun swimming. No water gear is available at the house for use so bring your own. There were two paddle boards, but, they are in poor condition and partially deflated with no way to inflate at the house.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to see our guests were dissatisfied with the cleanliness and wish they had notified us so we could assist them. The hot tub is being removed from the property due to repeated issues. Thanks!
