Right by the creek!

  • 5 of 5

It was perfect for our family with a baby. Able to walk into town and get back for a nap. A little fishing, sitting on deck listening to the creek. Watched the deer and turkeys walk by. House is comfortable with most of what we needed during our stay. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again if in Red Lodge!

Casual and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

The property was very comfortable for 6 people. The casual atmosphere was perfect for Red Lodge and the home was well-equipped. We enjoyed a class reunion and participated in the Climb for the Cure on Red Lodge Mountain.

Great location, good price. It was a unusually hot week in Red Lodge, AC would have made this 5 star

Great way to relax

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house and that it was right next to the water. The amenities were awesome and more than we expected. We loved our stay and can't wait to do it again.

Owner's Response: These guests were great! When we went to clean up and prepare for the next crew we weren't sure anyone had ever been there. We certainly hope they return soon!

Comfort in Red Lodge

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time while in Red Lodge attending a large family get together. The rental by Rock Creek was perfect. The house was comfortable for the four adults who stayed there and our small dog enjoyed watching the turkeys walk through the yard each morning. We saw all kinds of wildlife while sitting on the porch or when taking walks in the neighborhood including turkeys, raccoons, deer, and even a small black bear up on the hill outside of town. The rooms were comfortable, the water pressure and temperature was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

We were in walking distance of shopping, food, and bars. The golf course was enjoyable.

We would stay here again in a minute.

Perfect setup

  • 5 of 5

Great location! Right on Rock Creek, on the South end of town to hit the pass or ski area directly, and walking distance to all of the restaurants downtown. House is well configured for multiple couples with a large open kitchen/living room and two bathrooms. Driveway was plowed despite recent heavy snows. Saw lots of deer every day and I'm sure plenty of other wildlife is around.

Red Lodge Mountain is great for skiing and snowboarding in the winter, while having several hiking trails to enjoy throughout the nicer months. There are several great day trails and also extended backpacking trails to enjoy. There is a golf course right in town featuring many lakes and several creek crossings, with a signature island green on the back 9. Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary has several animals, most whom have been rescued, and definitely worth the trip (don't miss the bears). Just take a short, beautiful drive to Bearcreek to see pig races from the end of May until Labor Day weekend. Watch the pigs grow from the beginning until the end of the racing season. Drive 66 miles over the Beartooth Highway to Cook City Mt, just on the edge of Yellowstone National Park. Cooney Reservoir is 22 miles away where you can enjoy water skiing and many more water activities. Fly fish or kayak Rock Creek that flows right through the town of Red Lodge.

There are several fun bars within a 1/2 mile of the lodge. The Snow Creek is always a good time, usually featuring at least one band on the busy weekends. Blue Ribbon and Snag Bar also are worth checking out. A couple favorite restaurants are Carbon County Steakhouse and Foster and Logans, but there are several other good restaurants really close by. If you want to go Whitewater rafting it's a short drive over to Stillwater River. There is a lot of hunting close by with options of having horse guided trips. Climbers will enjoy the height and climb of Granite Peak. Ride your bike on the Beartooth Highway going to the what many refer to as the Top of the World. Yellowstone Nat Park NE entrance is aprx 70 miles. Old Faithful Lodge around 157 miles.
