It is on the acreage with the original wood barn and garage that at one time served the town as the local gas and service station. Quiet country atmosphere with beautiful view of mountains and farm land. Town park 1/2 mile away, biking and walking areas.
What a beautiful peaceful place to share time with family. The home was very clean and spacious. We had family for Thanksgiving and there was room in the kitchen for everyone to jump in and help with the preparations. What a fun place! Decorated perfect. The minute you walk in the door you feel like you are home. Will definitely stay again. Thanks Julie for sharing your VRBO home.
The home is lovely! Everything felt new and pretty. We appreciated all the bedrooms on the same floor (we have young children). The kitchen and dining area are bright and roomy. The yard is nice and the kids had a ball exploring around the barn. Julie is kind and is truly interested in making your stay pleasant! You'll enjoy spending time here!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Cornish. This home was perfect for our large group and felt like home. It was so clean and Julie the owner was the sweetest. We would definitely come back.
We had a bit of confusion with our dates but Julie was quick to handle it ! She went over and above to make sure we were taken care of. I would definitely recommend Julie and this cozy country home.
Great place! loved it! The pictures don't do it justice. We will/want to stay again next summer! See you soon.
We enjoyed this home very much. Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels were clean and fresh, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you might need. The owners also took care to include the little details like body wash, and paper towels and a wonderful book of things to do locally, it came in very handy. We enjoyed long drives and tours of the local food factories. The back patio view was breathtaking, with a BBQ and patio furniture ready to enjoy. While doing dishes, I enjoyed looking out the window at the historic barn on the property. We would stay here again!
*Make sure you bring some groceries with you as the closest store is about a 15 minute drive away and there are no restaurants or gas stations close by.
*The parking is partial gravel and mostly dirt. It happened to rain a lot when we were there, our car interior got very muddy. Also there are no gutters toward the rental key entry door, and rain water splashed in the flower beds which then splashed on our clothes.
