Apple Tree Cottage has been recently renovated. Open the front door and step inside a world that wraps you in a warm hug and insists you relax.
The sitting room has a log burning stove and super comfy sofas to curl up in. Your dog will love to lie in front of the log burner and enjoy the peace and tranquillity this house is known for. Next to the sitting room sits the breakfast come dining room. With another log burning stove there is no excuse for chilly meals ! A well equipped kitchen with stunning Welsh slate worktops cries out for cooks to shop for local produce and create away. There is a table and chairs for quiet breakfasts or for the cook's helpers to enjoy a glass of wine and offer up encouragement as the dinner is produced ! Through from the kitchen is a stunning scullery with dishwasher and washing machine - there is nothing basic about this room. There is even a little table and chair in there - it is that lovely!
The back door opens from the kitchen into a gorgeous dog friendly garden where you can enjoy flowering bulbs and shrubs all year round. A mature garden with a path running through it to a magical potting shed, here you can sit comfortably and enjoy the warmth through the greenhouse glass. Love it !
Up the incredibly beautiful stairs you will find 3 bedrooms - two doubles sit at the front of the house and a single at the back, overlooking the garden. There is a modern bathroom with a wonderfully deep bath and separate shower.
Apple Tree Cottage is a gentle stroll away from the town centre and there is street side parking just opposite the house. Walk along Wexham Street which feeds into Church Street - window shop as you go along. Spy the incredibly local curry house and make a mental note to book a table or order a take away - Abdul knows his curries ! At the bottom of Church Street sits Castle Street - anchored at one end by Beaumaris Castle and by stunning seaside painted houses at the other end. In between you will find Beaumaris Pier where ice cream is essential ! Stunning views across the Menai Strait to the Snowdonia mountains beyond. This town has everything you could wish for. Historic buildings to explore, a castle to defend, the Anglesey Coastal Path to join, boat trips, crabbing competitions, sand castle building. Park your car and rest for a few days then when you are ready you will find Beaumaris is so central it is easy to explore the rest of Anglesey and Snowdonia from here. Penmon Lighthouse is 10 minutes away, Llanddona Beach and the miles of sandy shores is under 15 minutes away - you can be parked and ready to walk up Snowdon in 30 minutes. An ideal location for all explorers.
