Nicely furnished, with comfy sofas in the lounge, TV with Portuguese/international Channels and WIFI. In addition there is a formal dining area with table and chairs which shares the room with the lounge for a nice ambience. The kitchen is equipped with modern and integrated appliances and a full range of utensils, pans and plates. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds and a moderately large family bathroom. Both rooms have a black out shutters and integrated wardrobes. To the outside is a small patio area with a small table, a 1 seater and a 2 seater sofas. The patio is facing a lovely small playground and the open community area, which is family and children friendly . There is also a secure underground parking space with elevator access available. The condominium is situated 5 minutes away (walking) from the lovely town centre of Tavira and from a ferry stop which takes you straight to Tavira Island with a beautiful beach, restaurants and cafes. I fell in love with Tavira 10 years ago and bought this property as our holiday home. We then decided to move in and lived there for 4 years. So the apto has the "home feeling". Tavira is one of the most beautiful town in the Algarve, according to many tourist books and the favourite destination for the Portuguese and Spanish. People who goes to Tavira often go back year after year. The gastronomy is based on grilled fish and meat with many different fish stews called cataplana. Very tasty!

Great apartment in a fantastic location
This is an ideal apartment for us as a family as it is walking distance to the centre, has a pool and has parking for the car.
The apartment itself has all of the amenities you could require (and yes the WiFi works well!).
The complex also feels secure and has some people who live there pretty much all year round.
The owner, Claudia, is very friendly and gets back to you quickly on any query.
If I was being picky I would say the road can be a little noisy and like most apartments the sound from other rooms carries through.
Having said that we have stayed on this complex for the past two years and have already booked this apartment again for next year!

Just returned from 2 weeks at this property and highly recommend it. Extremely well located within short walking distance of the river and all "old city" destinations. Property is clean, well maintained and suitably equipped. Owners' representatives within the project were very helpful and responsive. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Second visit to Tavira staying in Claudia's apartment. Central to all amenities in the town. Could not ask for more.
Superb for Our Requirements
Having visited Portugal 15+ times and sometimes staying with relations in Barranca da Nora north of Tavira.This was our first attempt at a holiday with my wife having had the problem of a full left leg amputation.This owing to medical mismanagement.Pam found the description of this property could fill the needs of a much-needed break.Flat court yard with wheel chair access to the lower level.The apartment lived up to the description given by its owners Claudia and Jonathan.
Comfortable outside furniture.King size double bed.Second twin bedroom with plenty of room to spread all our necessary luggage.Well appointed kitchen with every conceivable extra from crockery to a fridge freezer that actually worked correctly.All doors and wardrobes of a quality standard.The bathroom with built in grab rail on bath wall thoughtful.T.Vs,although we had so many people to see were there if desired.Air conditioning available.Not needed for this time of year.
Property close to the centre.Quiet at this time of year but we made many friends in the complex.Domingos and Olga on site to handle any maintenance issues.Even the African grey parrot in the second floor apartment opposite kept us amused with its banter.
So,a lovely apartment for any couple.Could even charge the motorised scooter from an extension cable to the wall on the yard.A definite plus property for anyone with mobility issues.Only returned on Tuesday September 19th.
Would we hire it again? Just booked again for a longer period next May.Superb.

Perfect from start to finish! Communication with Johnathan and Claudia was great. It was important to them that we should have the best holiday and all that we needed in their apartment. All was just as described in the listing. Central location, close to the ferry to go to Isla de Tavira ❤️, lots of cafes, bars and restaurants serving fresh fish and wonderful local dishes. There is a close community feeling there and you can't help but feel part of it. The railway station isn't far to walk to for little day trips. We don't want to drive whilst on holiday so walking everywhere within Tavira is easy whether shopping or exploring around the cobbled streets soaking up the history. The walk through the salt marshes to 'Quatro Aquas' is lovely and you can often spot flamingos, stalks and different kinds of birds wading. I love Tavira and will look forward to returning many times, hopefully staying in this pleasant and spacious apartment.

Tavira is a very beautiful ancient fishing town with river, sea and a beautiful Roman bridge in the middle of the town. Beautiful walks on the salt pans with flamingos. There are 3 beaches on the astonishing Tavira Island, which have won best beach awards. 1)Tavira Island beach which you reach by ferry boat (5minutes walking from the apto plus 10 minutes boat journey), 2)Barril Beach in Santa Luzia (30 minutes walking/3km) which you can reach the beach by foot or by a little train, 3) Terra Estreita Beach in Santa Luzia reached by ferry boat.
