Completely renovated period home in quiet leafy village in Central Scotland. 15mins to the home of William Wallace in Stirling & its beautiful Castle (see movie:Braveheart) 25mins to our Capital city Edinburgh (& its airport) and 40mins to Glasgow (& its airport too)

This home is the perfect base to explore the whole of Scotland with picture perfect mountains & lochs, walking/hiking trails, shopping, eating, fishing, skiing, biking...Not forgetting the 5* professional golf courses all around us!!! Theres even a small golf club in our village!

4 bedrooms including 1 with feature fireplace and 1 with carerra marble ensuite that includes double rain shower. 1 bedroom is located downstairs for those that may find it difficult to climb stairs.

2 further bathrooms (1 with oversized family bath upstairs & 1 with walk in rain shower that is located on ground floor)

Includes, dining area to seat 14 persons and German designer kitchen with double islands feature, all NEFF applicances including slide & hide ovens, instant boiling hot water tap and other usual features such as dishwasher, American style fridge freezer, induction hob & wine fridge etc...

Utility boot room with its own access and additional sink, washing machine & tumble drier

Hot Springs Hot Tub for 6 persons accessed from the rear deck.

A completely renovated period home with a contemporary finish throughout. This had been designed to feel like a home not a holiday let. This house is connected to Fibre broadband and has 'SMART' enabled technology such as zoned heating, underfloor heating in all 3 bathrooms and Sonos sound system in every room including bathrooms.

We were lucky enough to have our house featured in the February 2017 edition of the U.K. magazine '25 Beautiful Homes' - they did a gorgeous 5 page spread. Photos coming soon.

Our secure entry electric sliding driveway gate, oversized woodburner in family room extension and 6 person hot tub set in a huge mature private garden really give this home the WOW factor and let you relax in complete privacy. 5 star reviews on other letting websites with feedback claiming the house to be the best they have ever stayed in.

Master bedroom closet is currently shut off from guests and original sunroom section is also out of bounds as its under construction to create a 5th bedroom/office/playroom. No access allowed in these areas. Note our garden continues to evolve too with more extensive decking to be installed 2017.

3/4 acre gardens for guests and pets to enjoy. Note the garden is very contained with no neighbours being able to access or see into the property however dogs may be able to escape under trees and fences.

Note our 4th bedroom is currently set up as a nursery with a baby's cot. A Queen size Aerobed is provided should guests want to use the 4th bedroom to maximise occupancy to 8 persons. There is infact a 'further' Queen size Aerobed available if needed.

About Neil Harman

Neil (Scottish) Will (American) and son Hugo (both!) live together with our Boston Terrier Seven. We have homes in Scotland and USA so spend time in both countries. Neil is self employed Programme Manager and Will travels the world as a Recruitment Manager in the Education sector.

Hugo is an adorable 1 year who goes where we go.

Seven is more of a homebody and likes to go stay at her grans house when the boys are away.

This property had everything. It was completely derelict when we bought it but after 3 years of renovating we've created a dream home. It was featured in 25 Beatiful Homes magazine and other publications - and it deserves to be!

Amazing house

We stayed at the house for a weekend with friends, we had such a lovely time, the house is stunning but also just so cosy and well catered. The hosts were very generous with both their time and the care they put into their guests stay. It was the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing weekend away.

For my family everything about this home is absolutely perfect. The decor is unique and designerly but still very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is fit for the most picky foodie; complete with top quality appliances and great accessories. You can stop looking for other places in Scotland because you will not find a better home than this.

Fabulously quirky home, very helpful hosts

We had a great stay, lots to do being placed between Edinburgh and Glasgow even if the rain sets in like it did for us! The house is gorgeous, all the mod cons and hot tub is great. Neil was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly, great hosts.

Heaven on earth... or at Least in Scotland.

We had an amazing time at this little gem of a home. The inside is very modernly updated and decorated, like a page out of the Ikea catalog. New appliances and amenities, even a hot tub!

Made our stay, particularly with our infant child, a joy. We would love to stay here again. The hosts were amazing, answered any questions we had immediately, and were in touch throughout our stay, but not in an annoying way- just to make sure we had everything we needed.
