Description

Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday cabin in Pine

This beautiful cabin has magnificent views of the Moggollan Rim in the quaint town of Pine. It has two bedrooms with high quality queen beds and two full bathrooms. There is also an inflatable queen mattress and a comfortable living room sofa, so it can sleep up to 6. It has a full kitchen with all the dinnerware, drinkware and cookware you might need. The kitchen appliances include a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker. The living area has vaulted wood ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that have magnificent views. There is a wrap-around wood deck with a propane grill, propane firepit and outdoor furniture for eating. The town of Pine is just 13 miles north of Payson and is at a higher elevation so it averages at least 5 degrees cooler than Payson. There are several great places to eat in town if you don't want to cook. There are many places to hike, fish or atv. Pine is located very close to the Tonto Natural Bridge national park, which is a must-see.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Wow, these people should not be in the rental business. They cancelled our reservation the night before our rental, because we would not give them our home address, when we have a daughter that would be home alone while we were gone. When we rented the cabin, we explained that it would be my father in law, my wife and my self. That we would be in the Payson area for a few days to check out the Tonto Natural Bridge and the Zane Grey museum. At 9am the day before our rental, they texted and asked for our home address to get us the keys, we asked to meet them (we have a daughter that would be home alone while we were going to be gone and didn't feel comfortable giving out our address). They wouldn't respond. At 3:30pm we texted again, asking for directions and how we could get the key. They texted back that the home was expensive, with their family's personal property in it and we should trust them with our address, acted like we were being unreasonable for not giving them our home address and were very concerned about the expense of their property and items in the cabin. We asked if they were not sending the directions and the key because we wouldn't give them our address. Then they called us, we thought that would clarify things. When we talked on the phone and my wife explained that our daughter would be home alone, and that we were uncomfortable giving out the address but would meet them for the house information and key, (my wife explained that she worked in law enforcement and offered to give them the name and number to the Sheriff that she worked for or other information about us), they again acted like we were being unreasonable not to give out our address, that they had a long way to drive to bring us the key and said they should just cancel our reservation. The husband said he worked for the police department for 30 years and wanted to know if the car that we would be meeting him in was registered in our name, we said it was and if he was in law enforcement, he would be able to look it up. He said yes, he could. The wife was in the background upset and said that they should still just cancel it. So, they canceled our reservation the night before we were to leave and credited us all but $35 of our deposit. Per Home Away we now need to make a formal complaint to try to get the rest of the deposit back (it's the principal of it now). They do not seem like they are comfortable renting out or trusting people in their cabin.

Sooooo Relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we walked in and were greeted with the huge windows and their incredible views overlooking the pine valley, we were in love with this cabin. The peace and quiet were so soothing to our city ears, the beauty seen from every window and the comfortable feel of the cabin were much more than we had expected. We relaxed and read and watched movies and vegged out for the first time in ages. We'll definitely be return visitors. Thank you, thank you Debbie for a smooth and easy transaction and an amazing place to visit.

A great respite!!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had a last minute cancellation by another owner, so I had to search hard to find a place. Low and behold we found this cabin in Pine, Arizona. The process was smoother than we thought. We met the owner and received the keys and directions for this property. A comfortable drive and not long at all. We finally got to our cabin and low and behold. Deer all over the place. Also Elk at the bottom of the mountain. Entering the cabin (to our surprise) a breath taking view from the living room. Outside on the deck? Perfect to enjoy a beverage and a book! Deer all over in the back of the cabin also! Pictures do not do this place any justice!

We're going to put some time in to get away during the winter months, highly recommended for a couple and a family!!! Thanks once again to the owners. You made our transaction smooth....

Amazing views and comfort

  • 5 of 5

We totally enjoyed our stay at this well-maintained, clean and comfortable cabin! The views make the very steep climb worth it! Just make sure you have a vehicle with a good, strong transmission and good brakes (use lower gears to climb). The cabin was super comfortable for us with quality beds and comfy furniture in the living room. Kitchen had everything we needed although we kept things simple food wise for the 2-1/2 days we were there. The deck and views are truly spectacular, and we enjoyed seeing deer walking through the community, and hearing the coyotes at night. The market in town is SUPER expensive, so bring your own groceries. And bring up some laundry detergent in case the one at the house is out. We can't wait to come back again!!!

My wife and I rented this cabin for a family retreat with our kids and grandkids. Upon arrival the cabin was wonderful with Awesome views from the large windows on back of cabin.

Cabin layout was perfect for 2 couples. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend tnis cabin to everyone who loves the mountains in the pines.

We will most likely return for another family outing.

Thanks Debbie for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin.
