About Cheryl Davidsen
Hi, I am Cheryl Davidsen and was born and raised in this beautiful area. I am married to Eugene Davidsen and we have a family of five boys, two girls along with 10 grandkids. I come from a long line of ancestors that settled this Mountain View/Waterton area and I am extremely blessed to have lived here almost all of my life. I am also a musician and song writer and have entertained many audiences in the area with my songs of heritage and legendary characters. If you ever need a few songs around the campfire at the cabin I would be glad to oblige - just give me a call.

Nice quiet retreat!
Nice location to Waterton Park! We enjoyed the quietness of the cabin and the room it provided for our family. Our kids enjoyed watching the mother ducks and their ducklings and we saw a deer come for a drink at the pond as well as a beaver busy at work! The cabin had lots of helpful supplies- especially the culligan drinking water! Very clean and quiet.
Peace and Location
Trappers Cabin was a peaceful way to unplug from the chaos of life. The privacy of the cabin and its quiet nature is a must for anyone who just loves to sit, watch, and listen--a great horned owl daily sat guard at the edge of the small lake on the property, and a young bull moose came to visit one morning. The cabin was also very conveniently located to both Montana's Glacier National Park and Waterton National Park of Canada. Great drives to both.
The open concept cabin was very well stocked with basics; kleenex, toilet paper, dish cloths, dish soap, dish towels, face cloths, hand & bath towels. Property manager was very prompt replying to communications and was very friendly.
This location was perfect for anyone looking to stay close to Waterton Lakes, without being right in the park, only a short 20 minute drive to downtown Waterton Lakes.
The location was secluded and setting was so serene, overlooking a large pond replete with wildlife. The glassy surface of the water was so gorgeous in the mornings!
Our family of 4 was very comfortable in this cabin. I would not want to be more than 4 people in the space, although it would sleep 8, cabin would be cramped.
Be mindful of very open concept. Can hear everything in cabin (Ie. For parents looking for a little privacy from children, there is none ;)-
Would definitely recommend staying here if looking for a very clean, quiet space in nature, very close to Waterton. Our family will definitely return to Trapper’s Cabin!
Quite and Serene.
Comfortable, cozy and convenient.
Quiet, secluded spot with great view of pond, wildlife and tranquil scenery. Close to Waterton Park.
Lovely view and comfortable cabin.
Never actually saw Cheryl but notes were clear and checkout procedures very clear. Kitchen was fairly well stocked. Could have used some salt and corkscrew. Posted description of pond, cabin and location were accurate.
This little cabin is located just 20 minutes from Waterton Lakes National Park
