Welcome to Vista Rica, our beautiful villa in the Jalon Valley in Spain - Costa Blanca 15 minutes from Calpe, Javier & Moraira.

Vista Rica (literally, beautiful view), is a three bedroom villa with private pool, broadband internet access, in Alcalali the Jalon Valley in Spain. The villa is set with stunning views and boasts spacious and beautiful accommodation and living areas, both indoors and out.

Vista Rica is a beautiful villa situated in a peaceful position overlooking the outstanding views of Alcalali in the Jalon valley. The villa itself is presented to a high standard to provide high quality accommodation as a second home for the current owners. The tasteful decor is of superb quality and encourages comfort and relaxation. With a good standard of spacious accommodation the property lends itself to use as a primary home, second home, or indeed, a holiday rental.

As you approach the villa, you are welcomed by the private pool and large open terrace, leading onto the professionally landscaped garden. The main entrance to the villa is through the large shaded naya, which itself provides a perfect place to relax either from the heat of the day, or in the calm of the evening.

Entering the villa, you are welcomed into the spacious open plan lounge/dining room with a central fireplace situated within the feature turret as it's focal point. This large living area provides central access to all other rooms in the house.

INDOOR LIVING

The villa has three bedrooms, two of which are double, with the third furnished as a twin. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes which provide spacious storage and are fitted to a high standard with tiled floors, rolling persianas and ceiling fans. The master and twin bedrooms (both of which are South facing) also boast combined hot and cold high quality air conditioning units.

The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room to complement the spacious family bathroom.

The villa comes equipped with Satellite TV and wifi Internet.

OUTDOOR LIVING

A key part of living in Spain is the lifestyle and, particularly, the outdoor living. Vista Rica is perfectly designed to allow you to enjoy the best of outdoor living in Spain, with it’s south facing private pool and large terraced areas, complemented beautifully by the professionally designed landscaped gardens. If the heat of the summer sun gets too much, the villa has a spacious shaded naya overlooking the valley, with the mountains of the Coll de Rates beyond - perfect for daytime shade and evening relaxing with a glass of your favourite Jalon red!

GREAT LOCATION

The villa is conveniently situated on the outskirts of Alcalali, just 5 minutes walk from the village, and overlooking the Jalon valley. Access to the villa is extremely convenient, being just 15-20 minutes drive from coastal towns such as Denia, Caple and Javea. Alcalali itself is an unspoiled Spanish village with narrow streets and local grocery stores, together with a collection of fantastic restaurants and small friendly bars and cafes.

The nearest village beyond Alcalali is the popular destination of Jalon, which has more shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the famous Bodega’s for which the area is so well known.

If traveling further afield, the villa is just an hour’s drive from either Valencia (to the North) or Alicante (to the South), providing easy access to air links throughout Europe.

We designed and built the villa having fallen in love with the location on our first visit to Spain. Whilst we were not specifically looking to buy or build, we fell in love with the area on our first visit and decided to create a quiet oasis for our family and friends to escape.

The views across the valley over the village of Alcalali, a ten minute walk, to the Coll de Rates mountains was irresistible. The location of the villa affords privacy, with the private pool being south facing to enjoy maximum benefit from the sun throughout the day.

What makes this villa unique

Whilst there were many places available in Spain, the combination of the location, tranquility, privacy and convenient access to attractions and facilities has proved perfect for us and our friends and guests over the years.

Peace and Tranquility

My family and I enjoyed staying at Villa Rica. It was a lovely quiet spot to stay in and we thoroughly enjoyed lazing around the pool on most days. The Villa was also very well equipped and felt very homely with all the ornaments arranged around the Villa. Despite its rural location there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you like eating out while the coast is only a short drive away if you want to visit the beaches of Javea, Denia and the other nearby coastal towns.

A little gem of a villa

We stayed in this property last June (2016). This was our first time in Alcalali and the Jalon Valley. This is an exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed villa with a delightful garden, patio and swimming pool . The villa has a fully functional kitchen, lounge/diner with TV, two double bedrooms, one which is ensuite, a twin room and a family bathroom which met all our needs.

The property is situated above Alcalali which is a lovely small town just about a 10 minute walk away with a number of excellent restaurants. Exploring the village is a must, for local produce and wine. The coast is only a short drive away by car through wonderful countryside.

We highly recommend this accommodation which was excellent value and we certainly intend to stay there again.

Lovely Villa a proper home-from-home feel

The Villa is very well maintained and well equipped. The pool and pool area perfect for relaxing and cooling off in the heat of the day with a pretty garden also. Whilst the area is quiet you are not far away from very good, value for money restaurants serving excellent food and wine. A short car journey and you are in the Town with many lovely shops, super market and restaurants. A proper Spanish feel.

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen und war sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Pool war toll. Die Aussicht könnte man verbessern, indem man den Oleander runterschneidet. Dann wäre der Blick aufs Tal fantastisch. Das deutsche Fernsehen haben wir ein wenig vermisst, aber das WLAN hat uns gerettet. Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub und empfehlenswert.
