About Jeff Rhoades

Being from the Midwest/Chicago I can truly say there is nothing that compares to Gulf Harbour. This property and the surrounding area supplies all everyone which enjoys elegant lifestyle + water + sun + boating + sunset views can ever ask for.

As a background I grew up being around water, real estate, friends and family. All of those thing I still love and enjoy in life. My wife and I are both hard working sales professionals which also own rental real estate in several cities. All these properties we manage as Rhoades Real Estate, LLC.

I am also Licensed Captain with 50 Ton Masters License. Boating is not only my hobby but also my passion so anytime I can get on the water I can. This I can also assist you with should you have rental interest on my property.

Lastly my wife and I are both Christian people which love giving our time to our church, fostering dogs for our local animal shelter, donate time to Kids of broken homes and mentor both the youth and elderly.

Gulf Harbour Winter Getaway

My wife and I stayed the month of January in this condo and felt very safe in the gated community. It provided easy access to all beaches, restaurants, events and activities in the Fort Myer area. The buildings and grounds at Gulf Harbour were very well maintained and beautiful. The community swimming pool was close and easily accessible. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the afternoon sun.

The condo provided all the at-home amenities. This was truly appreciated with our lengthy stay. It was very clean and well decorated. Technology was up to date and current with Wi-Fi access. Having two televisions within the condo was also appreciated. The décor of the condo was pleasant, and up to date. The lanai area was large and accessible by both the bedroom and kitchen. As a golfer, the view of the eighth hole from the patio was enjoyable.

We loved our time there and look forward to returning in 2018!

A great holiday

We stayed at this condo for a month and had a wonderful time. Gulf Harbour is closed to everything and it is a very secure place. Actually, when you go around the property, you realize how wonderful it is to be a part of this paradise. Access to the beaches is very easy and most golf courses can be reached within 30/40 minutes.

We found the owner friendly and helpful.

My wife and I rented this condo for January, February and March 2016. As others have commented, it has a great location, close to the beach and Sanibel island, shopping, dining etc.. Gulf Harbour is a beautiful gated property on the Caloosahatchee River, quiet and very secure. Bike riding is a favorite activity of ours and we really appreciated that you could ride a long ways safely without leaving the community. The condo itself was very nicely furnished with a 40" flat screen TV and Denon bluetooth stereo system. The lanai overlooked a very picturesque par five hole and we spent many mornings watching golfers as we had breakfast. I am a fairly computer-dependent person, so I was particularly happy to have an office with a big desk. The owner could not have been more gracious to us and responsive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to rent in the Fort Myers area.

Gulf Harbour-Condo

My wife and I rented this condo for 3 years in a row for 4 months at a time------

it's a GREAT condo in a perfect location--

the condo is great for having guests as the other bdrm/bath/den are on the opposite side of the condo from the master and when entertaining the entire living area opens to the lanai by sliding doors!! (the lanai is one of the largest you'll find anywhere)--

the heated pool is only a short walk from your front door --your car is parked under a car port only a few spaces from your front door--the owners upstairs are really nice people--

Gulf Harbour is an upscale community and a great place for your daily walk (circle part of the grounds and you'll do 3mis-you'll walk by homes in the multi millions $'s and the yachts in the marina are gorgeous!)--watch beautiful sunsets by the marina !!--

The condo had everything we needed and is a short drive to the beaches/islands of SW Florida.....there are restaurants starting across the street from the complex entrance-- as well as shopping (including a very nice Publix supermarket)........

We liked the area so much we bought our own place !!!!!!!!!!

Great choice in Fort Myers for a furnished 2 Bedroom Condo with office!

If you are looking for an upscale experience without the upscale price, this particular Gulf Harbour unit in Rivers Edge is a perfect choice! It's clean & inviting décor will make you feel relaxed & “at home” instantly. The unit is fully furnished with everything you need to simply relax and enjoy your stay. I liked the nice golf course views from the lanai & patio, very peaceful in the morning for coffee. I found the owners to be very responsive and willing to go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable with their unit as well as provide solid recommendations of things to do and where to eat, shop, explore, etc.

What is also nice about this development in general, is that it does not cater to the noisy vacation rental crowds that you’d find on Fort Myers Beach or Sanibel. Yet, you are just a short drive away from either one if you want to make a day of it on the water. Plenty of shopping, dining, and things to do nearby. If you are considering a furnished condo in the Fort Myers area and have not been to Gulf Harbour, you owe it to yourself to check this unit out!
