Located a short walk from the centre of the popular Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold. Stow-on the-Wold is the highest of the Cotswold towns standing exposed on 800 feet high Stow Hill at the junction of the Roman Fosse Way. The last battle of the English Civil War took place here in 1646. Known for its association with the once thriving Cotswold wool industry it is now home to many antique shops galleries and restaurants. For day trips out of town visit Moreton-in-Marsh Bourton-on-the-Water and further afield Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. All packed with popular historical places of interest. The cottage is the end terrace of three positioned away from the road and has a suntrap garden which catches the afternoon sun perfect for relaxing on the patio or to enjoy a BBQ in the afternoon or evening. Beautiful cottage in a great location!
Sycamore cottage is a beautiful, clean cozy cottage in a great location! Absolutely everything we needed was provided. Spacious well decorated rooms were very comfortable. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay in the Cotswolds!
