Great cabin! Second time renting.

  • 5 of 5

This was our second experience in this cabin and it easily met our expectations. It looked like some new appliances were added since 2015. The cleanliness, location, and ease of renting the unit were all positives. It is such a relaxing home, it is hard to leave. The only issue was the poor drain from the shower (a minor inconvenience in our opinion). The owners were very pleasant to deal with and had the cabin ready to go for out arrival.

We'll be repeat customers again in 2020 or sooner.

We really liked the nature of the upper peninsula, but...

  • 3 of 5

When we arrived at the cabin, we found out that one shower head at the master bathroom leaks too much so can not be used. And another shower head at the second bathroom was not fixed on the wall properly, so whenever we touched it, it fell. Also the gas grill in the garage didn't work due to the lack of gas. Regarding these issues we tried to contact her and left voice mail two times, but she never called back or sent someone to fix these problems until we left the cabin.

Owner's Response: We are sorry that you experienced these problems. We are aware that there was a problem with the sprayer in the master suite garden tub. We have temporarily removed the sprayer and plan to have a new faucet and sprayer installed in this tub for the 2017 season. Unfortunately, we could not locate the problem with the shower and found that the grill propane tank still contained propane after your visit. We encourage guests to contact the us on our cell phone numbers or to call our local property manager if they need assistance.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed our stay for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer.

The cabin and property are beautiful. Very roomy, well kept and comfortable.

Had everything we needed and enjoyed the privacy and bonfires. Was a little surprised to hear some traffic sounds in the distance from the highway but it was not a problem and it quieted down nicely at night.

Plenty of places to go and things to see during the day that are nearby or relatively close.

Local tavern called The Jolly Inn was a great place to stop in for a few beers after day trips and before heading back to the cabin. Did't eat there, but the food looked good and sure smelled good.

Most definitely would stay again and highly recommend it to others.

Thanks for the great getaway!
