In the evening enjoy the fire pit that overlooks the lake. It is a great place to roast marshmallows or hot dogs over an open fire as the night melts into the Alaskan summer midnight sun.
My family and I recently spent a lovely weekend at Jenna Rose. There were
many things we enjoyed about our stay. To begin, the lakefront property is
beautiful! Even with gray weather we were able to get out on the water and
enjoy paddle boating and fishing. (We caught several rainbow trout!) The house
was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to
make big family meals and the huge island allowed us to enjoy each other's
company while we were preparing dinner. The living room had comfy furniture
for relaxing after dinner. The downstairs apartment was perfect for a
parents with two children. Additionally, a handful of us enjoyed the
jacuzzi in the master bathroom. In summary, we loved our stay at Jenna Rose
and it was hard to leave after just two nights. We hope to stay there again
in the future!
Our extended family gathered here for a short after-Christmas vacation (eight adults and two children). The large home was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Bedrooms accommodated our group perfectly. Large living spaces were wonderful for two active little boys, with big comfy sofas for the adults. The kitchen was large and well supplied. Family meals were crowded and tight around the kitchen island (there wasn't a dining table), but the island was great for late-night card games with about six adults. Beds on the top two floors were very comfortable; the basement mattress was aging a bit. The upstairs bathroom, situated between the two upstairs bedrooms, was particularly spacious and lovely. We loved sledding down to the lake and cross-country skiing on the lake...absolutely beautiful! What a delightful getaway location!
We had a group of 8 Senior painters going to a workshop in Willow. We rented this house on the lake which accommodated our group nicely. Everything we needed. it was decorated nicely and well equipped. We would stay here again.
This Willow Lake property was a great place to de- stress and start our Alaskan adventure. The home is spacious and was immaculate, as well as nicely designed and built. The beds were comfortable ( priority for me) and sitting out on the lakeside deck, listening to the loons just before dusk was so peaceful! The little float planes were fun to watch come and go, and were surprisingly quiet. It was my husband's favorite place!
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Plenty of room for all 7 adults and 2 children. The dock was easy for the kids to fish from and had a blast giving rides on the paddle boat. River fishing is just minutes away and if you need something the market is right down the road. So relaxing. Thank you Carla
Gorgeous home, right on the lake. Vacationed with 80 year old parents, brothers' family including baby and had friends visit. It was extremely comfortable and plenty of room for all. We not only enjoyed the beauty inside this home but loved sitting out back bbq'ing, watching a plane land on the lake and at night sitting around a campfire.
We definitely hope to stay here again the next time we visit Alaska!
The whole family spent a week at this great cabin over Christmas. We had 7 adults and two toddlers and there was plenty of room for us all. The 2 and 3 year olds loved playing in the snow and sledding down the little hill in the back onto the lake.
The only thing we would have liked was a dining table we could all sit at for meals.
