On the top floor of the split level apartment you will find the master bedroom with a comfortable kingsize bed, seagull print cushions, Lighthouse style bedside lamps, double wardrobe, as well as the main bathroom tiled with 'Brighton Green' colour tiles, waterfall style basin tap plus separate shower cubical and bath tub.

Below on the first level you will find the second bedroom with a superbly comfortable double bed, wardrobe and yellow bedside tables with coordinating bedside lamps. There is a separate open plan kitchen, dining and living area. In the living area you will find a luxury double sofa bed that comes with a fully sprung mattress for a wonderfully restful night's sleep. There is also a TV, BlueRay player, collection of DVDs, SONOS Wifi enabled speaker as well as a dining table complete with chairs for up to four people, plus highchair available.

The fully fitted kitchen is very well-appointed including an integrated microwave, fridge freezer and full sized dishwasher, complete with all the cooking utensils, pots and pans, crockery and glassware to cook all the meals you require.

We also provide fresh bed linens, 2 x towels per guest, free high speed Wifi in all rooms, local area guide with personal recommendations, ironing board and iron plus 2 x hair dryers and basics such as salt & pepper, olive oil, ground coffee, tea bags and more.

By prior arrangement we can also provide a highchair, baby bath, travel cot and toddler mattress with bedding at a small extra cost. Please enquire for further details.

For advice on travelling to Brighton & Hove by train please visit National Rail Enquiries.

There is a Taxi rank directly outside Brighton and Hove train stations, which does not require booking in advance, sometimes there is a small queue of people waiting but this tends to filter down quickly.

It takes approximately the following times to reach the apartment:

From HOVE Train Station:

7 min by taxi

15 min by bus

20 min walk

From BRIGHTON Train Station:

7 min by taxi

15 min by bus

20 min walk


Due to the city centre location of the apartment there is no free parking options available. Where possible we strongly recommend you travel by train to either Brighton or Hove train station and then take a taxi or walk to the apartment.

However if travelling by car is your preferred and only option then for affordable parking options please use the JustPark website to find a parking space near to the flat, simply enter the postcode for the flat and book a parking space online:

We recommend you do this as far in advance as possible to secure a space as parking spaces locally are in very high demand.

The other option is Norton Road Car Park Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BE located opposite Hove town hall. This is a multi-storey, pay & display at £5 per day and is a 10min walk.

To book a place at Norton Road Car Park register at you will need your email, phone number and bank card. If you have a smart phone download the Pay By Phone App from the same website so you can manage your booking on the go. If you need to call Pay By Phone their number is: 0330 400 4357

In order to unload/load your car at the apartment you can pull up onto the curb outside the building and then take your car to it's parking location.

As a last resort we can offer residential visitor parking vouchers but these come at an additional cost and are only on the basis of availability due to limited numbers.


Gatwick Airport is the nearest airport and takes a little under 30 mins direct to Brighton train station using the Gatwick Express service.

Brighton & Hove is a very special place to us, which never fails to show us a great time and continues to create happy memories. Great apartment, perfect location and walking distance to everything you could possibly need or want to do. Liz couldn't be more helpful and arranged parking permits, a high chair, travel cot and a baby bath for us which made our stay so much easier! We stayed for 2 nights with a 10 month old boy. Communication with Liz was really easy and there's a very informative and very helpful brochure with all the local information you need awaiting you in the apartment! Apartment is just as it looks in the pictures, clean, tidy, great decor and really comfortable. It has everything you need with easy to access wifi, Nest heating control, Netflix and so much more. Beds are really comfortable and bedrooms are large! Shops, restaurants, take aways, the beach are all pretty much on the door step. We would definitely stay again!

The flat was just as described in the photos and perfect for our trip. Extremely comfortable beds, spacious living area and generally very well equipped. Overall, best HomeAway we've stayed in yet.

Beautifully presented, 2 Bed Flat on the Brighton / Hove Border. The flat had everything we needed and more, There was even a cheeky beer in the fridge to greet me! The photos don't do the space justice - its sunning, the attention to detail and finish really make this a HOT property. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

We were meet by Matt who not only helped me unpack and carry all my bags up to the flat but then showed us where we could park and then walked back to the flat with us. He gave us a lot of useful information in regards to the local area and what would be good for my daughter. The flat it self was spotless. It was absolutely clean and tidy. Perfect in every way, near the beach, shops, restaurants and a park. I really really enjoyed it and will be coming again!!!

Flat was located perfectly, bright, clean, well proportioned with all the equipment you need. Lovely

As stated the position was perfect for us. Close to everything we needed. The flat is very well decorated with good quality furnishings and bedding. Great kitchen with all you need to comfortably cook a 3 course meal!

The position was quiet and we were able to sleep well.

Able to shop, sit by the sea, visit my sons apartment nearby and eat really well.

We really enjoyed ourselves.

Only downsides:

1. I thought it said there was parking when I booked it. I was able to book a space nearby but it was a bit late when I realised.

2. I was contacted with details quite late and then only when I contacted them. That maybe normal on owners direct. Last time we had used it.

3. This was by far the biggest negative. I have 2 dodgy knees. The stairs are very steep!!! I coped but it was difficult especially when carrying cases. My son was exhausted. Again it may have been in the details and I missed it. If not it should be. Some visitors would need to consider this before choosing the booking.

Overall it was very good. Good value for money and a great base for a visit to Brighton and Hove for anyone who doesn't want to be in the busy centre.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review and I am delighted you enjoyed so many aspects of our holiday home including the furnishings, bedding and kitchen, and had such a lovely time visiting your son. I am sorry to read your complaints, which I would like to address: 1) Parking is available and there are a number choices for where to park which are outlined on the listing. You were also sent an email detailing all the parking choices prior to your arrival so you could make plans regarding parking, I also wrote “please let me know what arrangements you make and whether I can help in any way” but you did not reply. We are only 5 mins from the sea front and because of the location the buildings in the surrounding area rarely come with dedicated driveways or car parks unless you stay in a hotel and some hotel car parks are still a walk away. To counter this we have pulled together a list of options for guests on how and where to park. We also bring our own car and have a small child with lots of belongings and do not find the parking choices a hinderance to our stay. 2) Apologies that you felt you received information late. This was one of our first bookings with HomeAway, we have since adjusted the settings so guests receive information sooner through HomeAway. 3) I am sorry to hear about your knees, it does state very clearly on the listing that we are at the top of the house and there are stairs to climb, we have a small child with lots of belongings to carry and I have a slight weakness in my knee myself but I do not find the stairs a problem. Once you are inside the apartment the peace and quiet and light of being at the top (which is only the 2nd floor) is worth the short walk up the stairs. I would advise if you have a physical injury or impairment that is severe enough to find stairs in a house a problem you ensure you book accommodation with a lift or that is located on the ground floor or arranged in a way that is suitable for your needs. I would like to say that we are not a hotel or serviced apartment, we offer a beautifully refurbished traditional Brighton & Hove apartment set within a Victorian townhouse 5 mins from the sea front in a very desirable part of Brighton & Hove. Please accept that this is our own personal holiday home that we share with friends, family and guests. For anyone reading this review and response I do hope this hasn’t deterred you from booking and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Wonderful space with lots of light

Lovely apartment with shops, cafes and pubs at the end of the road. The sea is less than 5 mins walk. We enjoyed the walk each day into the heart of Brighton where there is so much to keep us and our one year old entertained. The pier is approximately a 15 minute walk along the safe prom. The apartment is three floors up and stairs are narrow but definitely worth it. We managed it with shopping and large buggy and one year old everyday. We parked on norton road multi story which was the cheapest we could find and felt secure as it was opposite the police station. The car park is about 10 walk from the apartment. You can park on the road to drop your luggage off. The flat contains all that you need (wifi,washing machine and dishwasher being our must have ) It has a very homely feel. We will definitely be returning.
