This stylish villa is situated in the small exclusive Puig Rosell. Its southerly elevated position provides magnificent panoramic views of the Mediterranean sea towards Palamos and the wooded Gavarres hills. Conveniently situated 10 minutes walk from Calonge - a medieval village with its shops, supermarkets and restaurants - and only 5 minutes drive from the delightful sandy Sant Antoni beach. It has been beautifully appointed to a very high standard. The 3 bedrooms all have private en-suite ( 2 with private balconies and 1 with french doors to private garden terrace). All bedrooms have Air Conditioning units added in 2017. This is an optional extra and has proved very popular as guests are charged only for what they use. They also found this system very fair and inexpensive. The villa is set in a gated plot with a large 10 x 5 metre private pool which can be heated. The garden is terraced with areas for sun lovers and for those who prefer shade, and even a boules area for the more active. The covered patio is perfect for outdoor dining. An additional outdoor terrace area complete with teak table and chairs and Spanish feature stone BBQ gives you the perfect choice of where to eat or relax. This area now has a new gazebo with retractable roof and sides perfect for those hot sunny days or to provide the perfect sheltered dining place in Spring or Autumn.

Further details for the villa at Puig Rosell: Catalonia boasts a wealth of things to see and do whether by car, public transport or on foot. There is something for everyone.

The people are proud of their gastronomy with fish being a speciality. Palamos if famous for its prawns and anchovies.

There are a number of excellent Golf courses and Tennis clubs nearby and even a pro-am golf course within 10 minutes drive.

Watersports are available at many of the beautiful local beaches

At the villa there is a book filled with ideas of things to do and places to visit. There is also a list of tried and tested eating places.

Skiing: Ski resorts in the Spanish Pyrenees are within 2 hours drive. These are also open during the summer months for outdoor pursuits including white water rafting.

Barcelona and Girona: The wonderful cities of Barcelona and Girona are 1hour 30 and 45 minutes drive away.

A super 10 days in a really super villa. We loved lazy days by the pool, a very hot day trip to Barcelona, a day at Agua-Dive (get there early!) and a super trip to the Dali Theatre and Museum.



Many a great evening by the BBQ too ......BLISS

The house is fully equipped to the highest standards to ensure a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. There is even an American fridge/freezer to provide freshly filtered chilled water, crushed ice or ice for the your G & T 's. Sun loungers, sun umbrellas and towels are provided for use around the pool. An additional terracotta table and wrought iron chairs are located on the covered terrace for that perfect 'alfresco' dining. There is also a feature Spanish stone BBQ and teak table and chairs located on the lower terrace.This has a retractable gazebo giving you the choice to dine in sun or shade. Inside the dining room table provides ample space to seat 6 and the leather sofa a comfortable retreat. Linen and towels are provided for the bedrooms/bathrooms. A change of linen, extra villa clean during your stay can be requested. We can also arrange a meet and greet service. We continue to welcome back return guests every year and have 35 (5*) reviews - please take time to read them.

Beautiful house, secluded and fantastic pool

Our family of 6 had a great time in Villa Corela.

We visited in April and the weather was super, using the heated pool (extra charge but worth it) every day. At night the pool has fantastic LED lighting.

The house was stocked with everything we needed. In the kitchen we found all essentials for cooking already stocked with a super BBQ outside with outdoor table and chairs.

Although we didn't have the whole house to ourselves we still had 3 bedrooms, easily accommodating us all.

The terraces for the bedrooms were a big hit for us and the kids and each bedroom had an ensuite.

Entry into the driveway is a little tight but no problem.

The house is roughly 5km from the beaches and well located to explore the beautiful walks and villages within 30 mins.

We took advantage of being close to Barcelona and visited for the day using the train station at Caldes. 80 euros return for the 6 of us which takes the strain out of parking in town.

All in all I would recommend the Villa.

Sam who showed us the house on arrival was great and took time to show us everything with some good tips.

Great base for cycling the Costa Brava

We (3 adult couples) rented the Villa Corela for 10 days in Sept. and spent most days cycling or hiking around the area.

The villa worked out perfectly for our needs, 3 spacious bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms, well stocked kitchen and a garage to store the bikes.

The yard, pool and views were greatly appreciated after a long ride.

Again a perfect stay

We have had another perfect two weeks at Villa La Corela, the house is very comfortable (especially with the new airco), the pool quite big, the gardens lovely and the view magnificent! We will probably return once more!

Worthy of our return visit

We were delighted that on our return visit the villa was as good as we remembered and the extensive garden had grown more beautiful. We were there during exceptional hot weather and the air conditioning was a real bonus.

We loved being around the pool and garden which are particularly private.

It is so easy to get to the beach and the gorgeous coastal walks that we will never tire of. There are so many interesting places nearby to visit and excellent restaurants. On a practical note there are some very good supermarkets and local food as well as local markets to browse. A superb holiday choice.

Luxury family villa in perfect idyllic setting

We have recently returned from an extremely relaxing and wonderful family holiday at Villa Corela (August 2015)

We were extremely impressed when we arrived at the villa it was immaculate, extremely clean and very well appointed, perfect for our family of 4. With each bedroom having its own bathroom this was certainly a big plus point too!

The grounds are really beautiful and it is set in a very private setting on a hill. The views are spectacular over Calonge and the coastline. There was plenty of space around the pool to relax and spend the day at the villa enjoying a BBQ.

The kids in particular loved big pool and spent most of the day in it! The other thing they enjoyed was the wifi connection!

What I also loved about this villa was the location and proximity to all the surrounding towns which are truly worth visiting. The owners advised us on many places to visit and were extremely helpful prior to our visit. We visited places such as Begur, Calella de Prafugell, Pals, and even a day trip over to France to Perpignan but to name a few over our 2 week stay!

We have stayed in several villas throughout Spain and Portugal and this would be top of our list and we are looking to re book for next year as we didn't get time to visit everywhere- a definite 5 stars!

An idyllic setting.

This villa is in a secluded spot, within a very well-maintained suburb of Calonge. It was spotlessly clean on arrival, we were shown round by Sam who maintains the property and was available to quickly respond to any queries.

The accommodation is lovely inside and very spacious and there is a variety of sunny & shady spots and balconies that one can enjoy from morning till night. A Magnum enjoyed on the West facing upstairs balcony in the evening became a personal favourite.

The pool was probably the best we've ever had: a perfect way to unwind.

Overall, we thought this was a stunning location for a May break. If coming back to Costa Brava, we'd definitely choose this villa again. Thank you.

May is a fabulous month for this part of Spain and the option to heat the pool in the earlier months has proved a real bonus for those who love swimming. Villa Corela is in the desirable area of Puig Rosell. Its elevated position provides magnificent panoramic views from the villa, garden and 2 balconies overlooking the Mediterranean sea and Gavarres hills. The medieval village of Calonge with its castle, markets, restaurants and fiestas is 10 minutes walk away. The beautiful Costa Brava coastline has many tiny coves to explore and also long stretches of sandy beaches offering a variety of watersports. Walking, mountain biking and horse riding are also within easy access. For the golf lover and tennis player there are several excellent courses and clubs in the vicinity. The surrounding Gavarres hills provide spectacular views with many historical villages to visit and winter skiing in the Pyrennees is under 2 hours away. Nightlife, shopping or dining outside on the beach is also on offer in nearby Begur, La Franc, Palamos and along the coast. Catalonia is also famous for Dali (Museum Figueres) and Gaudi (Barcelona) and the cathedral cities of Girona and Barcelona
