A Great Place to Stay
The apartment is well presented, the agent that we met upon arrival was very helpful and provided good advice. Location wise its in a fantastic location a stone's throw from the Harbour. Outside there is a fruit stall, bakery, supermarket, bicycle hire and cafe/restaurant. The balcony provides you with an excellent platform to watch Nice go past.
The main city is a 20min walk away or a short taxi ride/cycle/bus - easily accessible. If you are physically able to; walk its really pleasant.
Without wishing to sound like a typical Brit on holiday, my cautionary note would be, Nice is very hot (August) and there is no Air Conditioning. Not a complaint as AC is very expensive to run, I simply want to make you aware.
- Take an Uber Taxi to and from the Airport, they are far cheaper and very clean.
- Pop outside the apartment and go left, you will find a nice bay to swim in.
- Take the train to Italy as its only an hour away and the station is, turn right outside the apartment and walk about 1km.
- If you go to Italy, Friday is market day and its worth a visit - Italy is really well priced
- Hop on hop off bus does not travel many routes but they are always informative
We enjoyed walks around Nice Port and Nice itself and the local restaurants are amazing
