A beautiful house in a lovely village

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful clean house with a pretty garden in a lovely village with pleasant rural river walks. Friendly neighbours and home owners with great attention to detail in the home.

A great base for the local beaches and castles.

Would recommend and would return.

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

The property is a semi detached bungalow at the end of a quiet street. The owner is very responsive to emails, went out of her way to provide a travel cot and high chair for our eight month old daughter and presented the bungalow in a way that is bright, clean and excellent for exploring this corner of Wales. She even let our daughter keep the small toy that accidentally got packed up into our things when we moved out. Highly recommended.

Home from home

We only had one night but would have liked to have stayed longer.

Christine was there to meet us and was very friendly and informative.

The cottage was lovely and the little extras that Christine provided were much appreciated. Everything was spotless and everything that we used worked perfectly including the internet.

The only slight downside was some traffic noise at night in the front bedroom, but no worse than many other places that we have stayed.

Owner's Response: Sorry about some noise at night, probably because local farmers were trying to get grass cut into the night before rain started. This does happen occasionally. I do hope you managed to get some good hours of sleep! The area is sometimes known as the milky way as the grass is green and rich, enabling the cows to produce good milk. About 3 times a year the grass is cut to feed the animals in the winter. Some grass is collected green, some grass is baled for winter feed, and some dried for hay.

Wonderful home - I highly recommend it!

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I loved this two-bedroom home. It was clean and bright and had everything we needed. It was also close to the beach and the Llansteffan Castle. Our only regret was having too short a period of time here. From start to finish Christine was great to work with. She even drove in special to meet us even though we were delayed a couple of hours in our arrival. All the information we needed was provided. I can’t say enough good. I highly recommend this home.

A charming little property with an equally charming owner.

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a very nice long weekend at this holiday property.

Effortlessly easy to arrange with great communications from the owner from the start.

A lovely little bungalow. Very welcoming and homely. Incredibly well equipped, with everything we needed and more.

Many nice little touches. The owner, Christine, was good enough to meet us on arrival to show us around. She'd also left a lovely Easter card, chocolates, flowers and put out a selection of toys and books for our children.

Couldn't recommend this place highly enough as a base to explore the coast and Carmarthenshire.

The village itself is small, but was a couple of small convenience stores for supplies and a couple of takeaway restaurants (though we didn't try these)

10/10!

Thank you!
