Fabulous holiday home!

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a 3 week holiday in this beautiful home. Everything from start to finish was perfect. We had many specific requests that needed to be met as we wanted to comfortably accommodate my 80+ year old parents. The owners were so willing to answer endless emails until we felt 100% certain that this property would work for us. This was so appreciated.

House Highlights: Lots of space so we never felt cramped. Beautifully decorated and clean. Two lovely bedrooms on the main level with a big bathroom including walk in shower which we were after. Master bedroom (with pull out couch) and children's room upstairs along with a massive full bathroom. Kitchen is spacious and a joy to cook in. Very comfy living area with high ceiling and view to vineyards. Fantastic lower level with lots of space kids to play. Best of all is the huge screened in porch which we spent the majority of our time in when we were at home....if we were not outside enjoying the gorgeous yard and gardens.

We had a few special requests when we arrived and the owners responded immediately and were able to accommodate our every need. It truly was a spectacular stay and the perfect place to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday with our extended family who came for a visit. We even had the Ice Cream Truck come for a special visit to the house which was easy to do because the driveway is so big. He was able to pull right up in front of the house!

Location: The house is on the main road but set far enough back that there was no noise disturbance for us. We were in walking distance to not only a few vineyards, but a great brewery and a farmers market too. Our daughters enjoyed taking the bikes out ever day to ride down to get fresh fruit and veggies!

We explored a little bit of everything. Every day we had a new beach or inlet on the sound or bay to enjoy a nice swim. Many only minutes away. We were able to kayak/ paddle board close by, visit the charming retro town of Greenport, take the ferry over to Shelter Island, enjoy Orient Point and even made a trip to the outlets which are only 20 mins away. There is also a Jitney stop down the street making it easy to get into NYC or to JFK.

We really had the best of both worlds during our stay. We absolutely fell in love with the North Fork and we found a wonderful "home away from home" that was perfect for us! Thank you Devery and Vincent!!!

Excellent accommodations, clean and centrally located

  • 5 of 5

There are three important factors in any vacation rental: accommodations, cleanliness and location. This home exceeded my expectations in all three areas.

1) Accommodations: The home is exactly as represented in the photographs. The kitchen is large and has every possible utensil and serving platter you could need. The screened in porch, granted we could not use because of cold weather, would be perfect in the warmer months. The bedrooms are nicely spread out with bare essentials and with 8 guests in the home you do not feel cramped.

2) Cleanliness: The home was in perfect condition. There were even new sponges, still in their wrapper, in the kitchen. May seem like a small detail but just an example of how clean and tidy the home is.

3) Location: The home is on the main road of the North Fork but is set back and feels isolated. It is located next door to a winery and a three minute walk to another, less obnoxious, vineyard.

A great home at a great price. Definitely stay here. Simple as that.

Great house

  • 5 of 5

I've rented on the North Fork several times and this is by far the nicest house I've stayed in. Clean as a whistle, no clutter, gorgeous decor, beautiful, private property with amazing gardens. It's close to everything and the views of vineyards are incredible.

Ideal Memorial Day Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Came out here with a group of 6 to get away from the city for Memorial Day Weekend. We had the best time - the area is adorable with Mattituck and Greenport both offering adorable restaurants, oyster bars, shopping, and boat watching. More importantly, the house is beautifully appointed with fresh linens, kitchen equipment, a great yard for lawn games - really, anything you could need. There are several vineyards nearby, as well as the new Greenport Harbor brewery, which make for great day activities. But despite all the fun, the best benefit was the fantastic nights' sleep in the incredibly comfortable beds and total quiet!

The owners are very professional and easy to work with. I will certainly be back!
