Tucked away in the Essex countryside Crest Lodge is on the edge of Spains Hall Estate where there are wonderful walks and beautiful gardens to explore. Located just outside the village of Finchingfield which is considered the prettiest village in Essex with its pastel cottages on the village green, a stream that meanders through the middle, ducks and a couple of village pubs. Cambridge with its spectacular architecture is an easy drive and the roman garrison town of Colchester with museum and popular zoo is also nearby.
