A could be OK apartment
When we arrived there was no water in the apartment to cook, shower or use the toilet. As we were tired we decided to stay the night and then look at alternatives the next day. We did not get water by the next afternoon so requested a refund and packed our bags ready to move to alternate accommodation organised by another party. We received a full refund and then the water was turned back on. We were then in a situation where it made sense to stay. I informed the landlord the water was back on and he replied via text; "I already processed your refund but you can stay for free and just pay for the cleaning. Deal?" I agreed to this via text. Just before leaving I received a very strange email from the landlord saying weird things like why did I not pay more? Anyway, to cut a long story short a series of emails followed that means this landlord and I will never do business again. The apartment had not been professionally cleaned prior to our arrival and once we had water my wife washed the dirty sheets and swept the floors to avoid getting black feet. The landlord told me he will have any feedback removed he is not in agreement with so not sure if I have wasted my time writing this
David was from the first moment a difficult customer, unable to understand basic instructions how to contact the key holder etc. The complaints made here about the state of cleanliness of the apartment are a complete fabrication and without basis in fact. My wife spent 2 days preparing the property after our last visit! In respec of the problems with the water supply, this was caused by action of the security team at the resort, completely ourside of our control, and without notification to me as owner. We resolved the problem as quickly as possible, making every effort in the meantime to offer David alternative accomodation. The subsequent communications on his departing the rental were my surprise at his lack of any goodwill compensation for the services which I had to pay for him to stay at the property, since I had already offered a full refund for the rental.
