My husband and I stayed week of 8/21-8/26/16 and had a great time. Condo/resort had all the amenities we could ask for. I read a lot about the elevators being an issue, but wasn't at all for us. The resort wasn't crowded at all. The condo was clean and tidy. One thing to watch for is the bed frame in the bedroom. It sticks out a little much and if you get up in the middle of the night watch your toes! Beach was very clean, they have chair services, jet ski rentals right out the door. I was under the impression that we were provided chairs with the stay, but that's not the case. Unless you'd like to pay 40 dollars a day for a 2 chairs and unbrella pack your own. We did rent the chairs for a day and they were very nice, but the remaining part of the stay we used our own. Overall it is a fabulous condo, and a great resort to stay in. With my personal experience I would recommend this condo to others!
We really enjoyed our stay. It was a nice quiet area at the time we went. Spotted plenty of dolphins and even a few stingrays from the balcony. The pools were not warm at all though. Luckily the weather was still warm enough for the ocean.
This resort was an excellent treat. No dust. A beautiful of the city and the ocean. We could touch the stars at night from the balcony. The view of the top of the city makes you feel like you rule the city. We liked the bunk beds. The entire room was clean. The metal frame of the master bedroom's bed sticks out in an awkward way so walk slowly in the bedroom. you don't wanna trip on it. We liked the beach area directly outside. There were security guards walking around everywhere within the building as we walked the ground floor. They were friendly and pleasant. Beach chairs were available to rent, but we preferred to bring our own chairs and tent. To save money. The kitchen area within our room was nice. Good sized fridge. Lovely dining table. The bathroom was fine. The washing machine may need to be examined. I put three towels in it, and when I ran it , it made a very loud whirring noise for more than 10 minutes. So only wash in the day time or you will wake everyone. If you bring children with you , as I did, I would say buy groceries for breakfast. It is not easy trying to plan for everyone to leave the room all at the same , make sure their all cleaned and dressed, take the elevator to the 2nd floor , then walk across the walkway to the garage to find your car, within a few short minutes. All the while, you just wanna be on that bluewater beach. I accidently locked myself out of the room on my checkout morning, but the 1st floor staff let me borrow their phone to call panhandle customer service. That was sweet. I always walk around with my panhandle i.d. info because you never know. There was a movie rental station on the 2nd floor along with a library and computers. Our room was very tastefully decorated. Made me wanna listen to some jazz music and drink wine.
I brought my 7 and 8 yr old with me. THey like the room . THey loved having their own bunkbeds. They took over the living room t.v. and watched Disney whenever we were not on the beach. I would say that it is best with small children to keep the balcony door closed , for safety reasons. But we had no problem at all keeping our girls safe in the room. All the tenants wore i.d. bracelets and the staff wore uniforms. WinnDixie grocery store was a 2 minute drive away which was very convenient for a busy mom like me.
I liked the look of the whole place. The condo is spacious, tasteful, clean and had amazing views. We would go again and again.
Cheap bedroom, useless knives and pans, if you like to cook. It took us 1 hour to leave the building on Sunday morning because of unavailability of elevator. Other than that, it's all good
