Goveton is a peaceful haven although it is only 2 miles from Kingsbridge which is the capital of the South Hams. Kingsbridge has excellent independent shops,resturants and pubs, along with the usual supermarkets. It also has a pictureque waterfront with boats moored up.
The mill is one of the properties that comprise the Buckland court estate. It is a 19th century grade 2 listed stone barn conversion. It has its own private pretty garden with patio area. Where there is a bbq and use of a hammock as well as a bistro table and chairs . Explore the delightful communal grounds including a well manicured courtyard and a lovely pond.

There is excellent walking with the south costal path particularly.
