Dine indoors or outdoors on the private patio, while overlooking a garden full of hummingbirds. Quiet, lush, and soothing. There is even a hammock where you can take a siesta.

Ninon purchased this bungalow in 2003
This location is one of the most popular areas in Los Angeles. It comes with a private garden, high ceilings, new appliances and is in the center of the city! Secluded and private, charming peaceful space.
Walk to the best restaurants Ysabel, Petit Trois, Trois Mec, Mozza Pizza Kitchen, Mozza, Red O, Carlito's Gardel, Providence, Animal, Jon and Vinny's and loads of galleries, vintage clothing shops, flea market on Sundays and lots of coffee, ice cream, juice and smoothie bars. Uber to Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theater, Disney Hall, LACMA, Fred Segal, Pacific Design Center, The Grove, Hollywood and Highland and Robertson shopping!
The property was a great place for a couple to visit West Hollywood. My husband and I are frequent visitors to West Hollywood area and enjoyed this location a lot. Uber is easy way to get around although parking so close to main part of Melrose sounds like it could be tricky, it was very easy and Ninon makes sure of that. You do share a yard with the main house, but owner is very respectful of your privacy so you felt comfortable. The entrance is very secure which is nice. Walking distance to great places to eat, shop or an evening out. Ninon even has refrigerator well stocked for you.
Our trip surrounded a show at the Troubadour and dinner at Luques, both highly recommended. Another fun venture is a broadway play at the Pantages Theater and drinks at the historical Frolic Room after. Uber trips ranged right around $5.50 each way and the most was $8 to the Frolic Room.
We'll come again!
Wish we could've stayed longer. We loved everything about our stay. The bungalow was cozy, clean, and had everything you could imagine needing/wanting on vacation. There was even treats left for us to enjoy.. thought that was incredibly kind. The location was great, close to everything. Parking was easy. Ninon the host was amazing.. great communication, and even checked in a few times during our stay. So happy with our stay that we will be back! Thank you for everything Ninon!
This review is long overdue! I've used HomeAway a number of times and this is one of the best experiences I've ever had. Ninon went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. She was fast to respond to emails and text messages, and made sure to check in a few times throughout my stay to see if I needed anything.
The bungalow is in a safe and very convenient location. On street parking was never an issue. Only a few times during the day did I have to park a few blocks away, but it was no big deal and within a few hours I could park my car on the street (often right in front of the home). The place is within walking distance to some great restaurants, and the neighborhood was quiet.
Ninon went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed many small touches. From the overabundance of towels to coffee to a stocked refrigerator, she amazed me with her kindness and generosity. Oh, and the bed was very comfortable too.
All-in-all it was a great stay, at a great location, with a great hostess, and without hesitation, I'd recommend this place to my friends and family.
Ninon is a lovely host and her charming little bungalow is spot on in so many ways. It is so close to Melrose with great coffee shops, restaurants and eclectic shopping. It is also a nice walk to The Farmers Market at The Grove and The Grove itself. We felt quite ambitious and walked down to Beverley Hills-a couple of hours of meandering.
The house itself is smallish but has everything you need for a vacation stay, including a lovely yard, hammock and patio furniture to relax and sip a glass of wine!
Ninon has stocked the house with snacks, water, coffee, shampoo and soap. I have stayed at VRBOs in many countries and nobody does that! There was even cream for my coffee!
Thanks Ninon, we enjoyed our stay in LA and your home certainly contributed!
The bungalow was even better than expected. It was very spacious for a studio with fabulous well equipped kitchen. Our fabulous host even provided snacks.
The position is great, within walking distance to most things you would want or a very quick uber ride.
I would definitely stay here again.
This was a clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation in a convenient location. The bungalow was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed and the outside patio space was a real bonus. The property is in easy walking distance of a number of shops and places to eat (including the Village Idiot on the corner, which I recommend) and the parking permit meant it was easy for us to explore the rest of LA. The bungalow is not too far from the Walk of Fame and Chinese Theatre (around 40 mins walk if I remember correctly) and the open top tour bus stops just down the road, meaning you can buy your tour ticket from near the Chinese Theatre and then hop off at the stop down the road from the bungalow when you're done sightseeing. All in all, this was a great place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!
Our neighborhood is super friendly. From Melrose Avenue shopping, restaurants, workouts and art to The Grove, Hollywood and Highland and Robertson Shopping. You can go to Rodeo Drive but that is for tourists... The hiking at Runyon Canyon is five minutes away. To see Los Angeles from the top of the mountain around Sunset is pretty spectacular!! The Observatory, Hollywood sign, Downtown, Century City and the Ocean are all within view. You can Uber with no waiting. No need for a car. Fairfax Avenue has blossomed with some of the best Restaurants: Petit Trois, Carlito's Gardel, Village Idiot, Animal, Ysabel and many more... Here is a great link for restaurants. http://la.eater.com/maps/best-los-angeles-restaurants-38
