About the property

4BRM/3BATH/2 Living Areas/Hot Tub/Magnificent Outdoor Spaces

Enjoy our 3-level, Teton Valley family home as much as we do! Relax or play in the spacious yard, enjoy the views from the deck or take a plunge in our large hot tub. The home sits on over an acre with open lots surrounding the property and lush, mature landscaping for plenty of privacy. During the winter, there is plenty of room for the kids to get out and play in the snow for hours! During the summer enjoy croquet, bocci ball, rolling around in the soft Kentucky bluegrass, and the abundance of flowering plants and fruit trees throughout the property There is also Wifi in the house, Bluetooth and DirectTV in both living areas.

The unique floor plan provides space and room for everyone. There are 3 levels in the home. On the main floor, windows and doors lead to the wrap around porch and surround the main floor living room and dining room, providing a view of the Tetons as well as the Grand Targhee Ski Resort mountains. The main level also hosts the kitchen, opening to the dining room, and a living room, bedroom (queen) and full bath. A propane fireplace in the living room provides great warmth and ambiance. The large deck has a large teak table and chairs and a gas BBQ grill. On the lower level, there are 2 bedrooms (twin/trundle and full), a full bath, living area, and laundry room, all leading out to the front lawn through sliding glass doors. On a river-rock area in the corner of the living room sits a-wood burning fireplace that gives the downstairs living area a rustic, cabin-like feel. The top level of the home contains the master bedroom (California king), full bath and large loft/sitting area overlooking the den. The kitchen is fully stocked, has a large pantry, and is and ready for entertaining. The garage also contains an extra refrigerator for storage. All bedrooms have closets and dressers so everyone can unpack and stay organized. The heated 3-car garage serves as a playroom housing a ping pong table, pool table, foosball table, and bluetooth stereo. Perfect for the kids!

About Carol And Rod Christ

This home is our escape from real life in Houston! We fell in love with Teton Valley in 2007 while skiing with friends. We returned in the summer of 2008 and quickly realized that summers in Teton Valley were nothing more than Majestic. At that moment we decided this was the place for our second family home, and quickly purchased this property. We invite you to come and experience the "Magic" of Teton Valley, our families favorite place!

Carol And Rod Christ purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Carol And Rod Christ chose Teton Valley Area

This house screamed "Family" the minute we turned in to the drive. The lusciously soft bright green bluegrass, fluttering aspen leaves and blooming flowers were amazing. We loved that our boys could have a yard, their own private space downstairs, an exceptional game room in garage and endless mountain adventures. A place where lifetime memories are made.

What makes this cabin unique

While the house boasts private spaces for all, the most unique feature is the wonderfully spacious and naturally shaded lawn. There are many summers where we find ourselves doing nothing more than breathing crisp cool mountain air, while sitting in the Adirondacks under a very mature Aspen Grove. Come and see for yourself!

Great home

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this convenient and scenic location. We were skiing, so it was quick drive up to Targhee, and reasonable for a day trip to Jackson. We like to cook, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some nice meals at the end of the day. Great hot tub. A really comfortable home with everything we could want. The owners were very helpful with planning and questions too. Would definitely stay here again next year!

Very nice house and area...

  • 4 of 5

Nice house and easy access to mountain and town. Owners were accommodating and easy. The game room was in a detached garage so a little cold during the winter. Kitchen a little small and tough for more than one person to cook. Those are minor complaints, overall a very good experience.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. I believe the listing does disclose the game room is in the 3 car insulated garage. We could have turned up the heat if you had let us know it was too cold. Thank you again for your stay.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home exactly as described. Very clean, nice linens, stocked kitchen with extras like the game room, hot tub, gas fire place, wrap around deck in a quiet neighborhood. We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving so it was great to have an additional fridge for the turkey.

Wonderful home with quiet beauty around us.

  • 5 of 5

We had a glorious time at this lovely home. Everything was as advertised and more! We ate all of our meals outside on the lovely deck as the weather was wonderful. Enjoyed the hot tub, as well, especially after a long 10-12 hour day driving in the park. Rod and Carol are so accommodating, professional and willing to be sure you have a wonderful time in their home. We did some local sightseeing and ate at some restaurants that they recommended. The Teton Thai restaurant was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Linn Ranch. You do need to call in advance as they book up quickly. Broulims grocery store in Driggs has EVERYTHING. Did a float trip down the Snake River in the early morning. Lots to do if you enjoy hiking, biking, fishing etc. Two weeks just flew by for we Arkansas travelers! Thanks so much Carol and Rod.

Summer stay in Driggs

  • 4 of 5

We had a very comfortable stay for 8 people in June, 2016 enjoying wonderful weather and visiting with relatives nearby. There was one glitch with a lack of hot water on our late arrival on a Friday, but it was remedied after getting in touch with the owner. Contact the owner's rep across the street and be sure everything is in order when you arrive. We had all adults, but it is well equipped for children. Coffee is by Keurig so be prepared, though we did find a regular coffee maker.

Targhee is very close for mountain biking, hiking, disc golf and good eats and drinks and Driggs is a short bike ride ( or long walk) down Ski Run Hill Rd.

All in all a great vacation

Owner's Response: Sp glad you enjoyed our home. We have remedied the issue of the hot water not being on. No need to check in with the neighbor. We have a new plan in place, and those instructions will be communicated to future renters. Thanks again!

Very home like and inviting😊

  • 4 of 5

My family and I had a wonderful time while staying at Wydaho Family Camphouse. My teenage grandsons and adult sons enjoyed playing pool and ping pong in the game room/garage after our daily adventures. My favorite part of the day was the early hours at day break, looking out at the mountains over a cup of coffee and watching wildlife graze😉򒐠The home is close enough to Jacksonhole, Teton NP and YellowStone NP that you can easily go to all of them with. Lovely home and area...

Thanks,

Barb R
