The Lodge, Blackford, is on the edge of the small village of Blackford, near Gleneagles in Perthshire, just off the main A9 road north.
Within easy reach of Edinburgh and Glasgow or the Highlands for day -trips. Stirling, Doune Castle and Perth and other places of interest nearby offer a wide range of places to visit for all the family. The house is the front part of an Arts and Crafts stone built house designed by the architect Robert Mitchell and built in the early 20th century and has many original features. The downstairs has a large dining room with large mahogany dining table, built in side board, and daybed which can sleep two additional guests, modern kitchen, utility area and new barrier free shower room. Upstairs is the large sitting room with 40" TV (wide range of channels via freesat) and comfortable seating for up to 7 and a wide range of books and games, double bedroom, twin bedroom and single bedroom with second barrier- free modern shower room.
