There are 3 large supermarkets 5-10 minutes walk and grocery stores, restaurants and amenities all less than 5mins walk.
Colindale is in North West London and is local to many popular points of interest, including, Wembley Stadium & Arena, Camden Town, Hampstead, St Johns Wood and Primrose Hill.
There are many parks in the area, each with a large green space and a dedicated play area for children.
The area is safe and the neighbours are very friendly.
Colindale station offers quick access to Central London (25 mins) and other popular destinations such as Camden Town (15 mins) and Hampstead (10 mins). Trains are very frequent (every 3 mins).
Many buses operate in the area. Popular destinations include Wembley (83 bus), Brent Cross Shopping Centre (142), Watford (142) and Kilburn (32).
For taxi’s, Uber operate in the area. They are cheap and usually available within minutes.
There is good access to London Airports. The apartment is very close to Heathrow and Luton by Taxi. There is a direct overground train available from Gatwick to Hendon Station (60 mins).

Very friendly owner, clean flat but if you don't like sitting on a couch, it might be challenging.
Simon is a very friendly owner who responds very promptly. All the information was helpful and correct. The house was very clean and organised, but we missed a table to sit at, a comfortable chair and bedside lamps. the cooker has only two rings, so the possibilities to prepare one's own meal are limited. I am afraid the bedding did not feel very clean. It is recommended to take the walk through the park from Colindale as the other route is not very nice.
L'appartement est agréable bien que petit. Il se situe au 2ème étage d'une maison. L'endroit où se trouve la maison est relativement calme, plutôt résidentiel. Le quartier est mixte et correspond aux banlieues populaires des grandes villes. Il faut marcher une bonne 1/2 heure pour atteindre la station de métro la plus proche, ensuite on arrive dans le centre de Londres en 20 minutes. C'est assez pratique. La flexibilité des horaires d'arrivée et le fait de récupérer les clés dans une boite avec un code est très appréciable. La caution demandée a été récupérée très rapidement.
