Villa Eterna rocks

Set on a rock on the hillside of Torreguadiaro, this peaceful and private Villa overlooks the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea, the imposing Rock of Gibraltar and the Coast of North Africa.

It is situated a few minutes from local beach, bars, restaurants & Sotogrande Marina. It is the perfect base to explore Andalusia, its white villages, sandy beaches and moorish-influenced towns, sherry bodegas and spectacular flamenco.

Activities close by include golf, polo, sailing & horse riding.

Villa Eterna is accessible through secure entrance with electric gate and offers private parking space for several cars.

The entrance leads you straight into the spacious lounge with its large arched windows. It is an open plan room with indoor dining area, sofas and coffee tables. It is equipped with Internet & Spanish TV, Audio System, High Speed internet & Printer.

It opens on a sun-soaked terrace where you can dine alfresco or enjoy a drink losing your gaze on the breath-taking sea views of Gibraltar and Africa.

The kitchen is well-equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, gas hob and microwave.

On the same floor there are two Double Bedrooms and two Bathrooms (one with shower and the other one with shower and corner bath) plus a small sitting room equipped with a spacious sofa.

The lower floor is dedicated to a Master Bedroom with a french window overlooking the swimming pool and the hills. The adjacent rooms are a walk-in wardrobe and a spacious ensuite bathroom (with shower).

All bedrooms, Lounge, Kitchen & Sitting Room are equipped with Air Conditioning Units.

Enjoy the best of the outdoor life all day long on the terraces and in the garden. On the hot summer days you can swim in the private outdoor Swimming Pool (Length 10m x 5m; Depth 1m to 2m), sunbathe on the swimming pool patio, or just cool off appreciating the breeze in the Upper Sun Terrace. Or you can relax on the covered Lower Terrace (equipped with BBQ) or enjoy some privacy on the Secluded Terrace overlooking the pool.

Admire the spectacular sunsets or chill out under the stars at night listening to your favorite music. If you can’t tear yourselves away from your smart devices the Wifi coverage is available in all rooms of the house, sun terrace and swimming pool terrace.

We provide a set of towels consisting of bath towel, hand towel and swimming pool towel. Please remember to bring your own beach towel with you.

For your security every window and door frame is equipped with irons bars. At the entrance of the property there are movement sensitive lights and a permanent webcam to monitor the entrance gate.

The property is equipped with a second webcam that is designed to monitor the pool conditions throughout the year. This camera is dis-activated during the guests’ stay.

Access to outdoor staircases can be prevented with bolted waist-level gates.

The guests have access to all parts of the house, swimming pool and extensive garden. Garden and pool maintenance will be undertaken during your stay. Visiting hours of the members of our team will be detailed in the introductory pack on arrival at the house.

Additional Cleaning services are available on request but are not included in the basic price.

The villa is in a quiet location on the hillside of the old fishing village of "Torreguadiaro" in Cadiz Province. Several tapas bars and restaurants are just a short walk away in the main street of the village that retains its mainly Spanish feel.

The more cosmopolitan Sotogrande Marina with its yachts, boutiques, bars and restaurants is a 5 minute drive or 20 minutes by foot (there is a picturesque wooden walkway along the beach and the marshland). Every Sunday and two nights a week during summer there is a clothes and craft market in the Ribera del Marlin.

In Torreguadiaro there are a few convenience shops that are open till late. Our latest recommendations are included in the House documentation.

The nearest Town is Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro (just 10 minutes away) where there are 3 big supermarkets: Lidl, Supercor and Mercadona where you can stock up for the period of your stay. In the centre there are smaller shops; including a small supermarket with English products.

There are two cash points (ATM) in Torreguadiaro near the chemist, but you can find several banks in Sotogrande and in Pueblo Nuevo.

There are several sandy beaches with chiringuitos (beach bars) that in the summer offer sun-loungers and beach umbrellas as well as drinks and music till late at night.

The exclusive Polo grounds of Ayala, Pinos and Santa Maria and some of the greatest golf courses in Spain, Valderrama, Real Sotogrande, San Roque, La Reserva, and Finca Cortesin, Almenara and La Canada are on your doorstep.

Water activities (e.g. standup paddleboard, kayak, catamarans, scuba diving and snorkelling, sailing) are available in Torreguadiaro or Sotogrande Marina.

Experience horse riding near Sotogrande on some of the most beautiful trails in rural Andalucia. You can take a ride at sunrise on the beach or a winding hillside trek through wild olive trees, cork oak and pines.

If you prefer just to run on the beach and want to do some exercise, you can test the outdoor fitness equipment in Torreguadiaro beach promenade.

Gibraltar with is imposing rock and the laid back resort of Tarifa, paradise for kite surfing or whale watching are less than an hour away.

The white villages, the mountains, and the relatively undiscovered Costa de La Luz on Spain's southwestern Atlantic coast are just some of the spectacular places that you can visit from the house.

You can walk easily to restaurants, convenience shops and to the beach, but we remind you that 5 mins downhill are 15 mins uphill.

There are a few bus services to Gibraltar and close by villages. However we recommend using a car so that you can enjoy the fantastic sightseeing that Andalucia offers.

On arrival, you will be greeted by one of our team who will show you around the house and brief you on the many features of the property.
