Clean, well located and convenient to all Cambridge locales.
Our host was gracious and accommodating. She made our arrival smooth and easy. The house is clean, comfortable, and boasts a well- stocked kitchen (with juice and bagels to welcome us). My sister and I enjoyed our stay and would happily come back for a return visit.
Well located, well appointed, graciously hosted
We were in Cambridge for a week to celebrate a major family event. This suite was located within an easy walk of Harvard Yard and surroundings ( ten minutes approximately). We had easy walks to Central Station for trips into Boston (just a 5-10 minute walk).
It was close to a Whole Foods, and had a well-appointed kitchen that let us take advantage of the grocery store (including a Vitamix blender!!).
It slept four adults comfortably, and could easily accommodate one or two more.
When we come back we plan to book this location again!
The host was always nearby, but never intrusive. She got us anything we needed, but gave us the run of the suite for the duration of our stay. We took advantage of the barbecue outside and the laundry facility in the basement.
All the comforts of home...
A charming apartment in a friendly, convenient neighborhood. Plenty of space to relax after spending a busy day. The outdoor patio was a wonderful surprise.
The owner welcomed us, answered our questions and thoughtfully provided breakfast in a fully stocked kitchen. With the permit parking provided, we left the car for two days and took the T ( a short walk away) to explore Boston easily.
Will stay there again
Great space, lots of room!
The apartment was fantastic, plenty of room throughout, very clean and tidy when we arrived. The master bed was nice and comfy! Appreciated the complementary bagels as we rushed out to catch our flight... very nice touch :)
And you can't beat the location! Quick walk to both Inman and Central Squares.
Very clean, very comfortable
My sister, daughter and I stayed here while visiting Cambridge and Boston. We walked to Harvard and MIT. The Red Line T was about 10 minutes away and restaurants were about five. We had no problems parking, but were there in August so maybe it's less busy. I would recommend the apartment to anyone who can do stairs, there are just a few up to the front door. It's perfect for three or four people.
Sweet little place
Good vs Excellent only because no dishwasher (who wants to do dishes on vacation), tricky parking (where in Boston would it be otherwise?) and limited air conditioning (one unit in bedroom and it wasn't working) which really made no difference to us but if the weather was super hot that would be problematic. Owner was notified and they were going to fix. The "bonus room" was set up with a twin bed. Transom window open to living room. You walk through the living room, into the kitchen. Bedroom and bath off the kitchen. It was actually a perfect set up for my son and I. Quaintly and simply appointed. Well stocked kitchen. Owner had sweetly left coffee, eggs, milk, OJ, pancake mix, bagels and cream cheese to mention a few! It was so thoughtful and helpful. Conveniently located to all the places we were visiting. We will definitely stay again
Thank you for your constructive review. You and your son were our very first guests. We swapped out the air conditioner in the bedroom because it was beeping and we want our guest to be comfortable, so thank you for letting us know. We also added another unit to the living room. It's true that parking can be challenging in Cambridge but you can usually find something within a block of the house, but it is something to be aware of if that would be a problem for someone. We really enjoyed hosting you.
We are on a residential tree lined street within walking distance to all the things Cambridge has to offer, Museums, restaurants, Universities and historical sites
