This modern, comfortable, centrally-heated property is in a listed building with 3 double bedrooms,( one bedroom contains twin single beds) plus a single bedroom which is opened only for a 7th person in the guest party bedroom; all with storage/wardrobes, plus 4 toilets and 3 en-suite bathrooms. The property is fully renovated to a modern standard, and is an ideal 'home from home' - 120m² spread over 2 floors, with all rooms being tastefully refurbished to the highest standards.
The property is to fitted with wireless internet access; the sitting room has 2 sofas and one easy chair, plus flats screen LED TV, and internet radio. The fully fitted kitchen includes an ovens (with grill, plus a microwave oven), fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, glassware, crockery and cooking utensils… with great restaurants on your doorstep you may not wish to use it that often! We keep it stocked with basics for use by renters (we just ask that you replace what you use). Washing machine and clothes dry wrack, iron, ironing board, hoover, radios and hair driers provided.
As well as Pimlico being in a highly central location (zone 1) ideal for exploring historic London, it is mainly residential, and has many good restaurants, shops and facilities, including a daily street market, all within a short walking distance from the property. 'Santander bikes' are available to rent just minutes away. From he local underground station it is just 3 stops to Oxford Street for great shopping too.
Being close to Victoria station (a 5 minute walk) there are good bus routes close by, including to Knightsbridge, South Kensington (shopping, museums and galleries) and Hyde Park. And just a short walk towards the River Thames, are buses to Parliament Square, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden (tourist sites, galleries and shopping). Victoria station has direct links to Gatwick Airport (mainline) and to Kings Cross St Pancras for the Eurostar to France/Belgium, (underground). There is a bus service from Victoria offering regular services to Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford, Cambridge and other destinations.
We wouldn't recommend bringing a car into central London but if you must, then there is secure parking locally (2 mins walk) available by pre-booking. At the time of writing this (2016) it is £21.50 per 24 hours. Although our property is very central it can be reached without entering into the Congestion charge zone.
Linen and towels are provided. No pets allowed. No smoking at this property. The property is not suitable for the very young (under 5 years) if you wish to bring children please state their ages in your request, thank you. We are sorry but we CANNOT accept bookings for children under 5 years due to insurance restrictions and potential noise issues with close neighbors.
Our property has a strict non smoking policy, evidence of smoking in our property during your visit will result in the forfeit of your damage deposit. The configuration of our property means there is one flight of external steps and one flight of internal stairs, therefore it is not suitable for those who find it difficult climbing steps.
