About the property

Three bed, three bathroom, detached cottage set within extensive private grounds

Set on the lower slopes of the Great Orme, Tram Station Cottage offers comfort, convenience, privacy and magnificent 180 degree views of Llandudno bay, town and Conwy mountains in the distance.

Comfort is assured in this detached four-star, three-bed cottage with two en-suites and a luxury family sized bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle.

Luxury duck-down bedding and mattress toppers enable you to customise the firmness of your bed.

Leather sofas, plasma tv, solid oak furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, digital radio, unlimited wifi and a double aspect wood burning stove combine ensure maximum comfort in the open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen space.

Oak flooring and furniture throughout with carpets to the bedrooms - all on the same level.

Location, location, location! At the private gated entrance to the cottage are three local treasures 1) the Kings Head tavern and restaurant - the oldest tavern in Llandudno, 2) 'Fish Tram Chips' -an award-winning fish and chip shop and restaurant and 3) the Victoria tram station and cafe - where you embark on a steep ride up the Great Orme. In fact, Tram Station Cottage takes its name from its famous neighbour - the Victorian tram.

Parking is a premium in Llandudno but the cottage has parking for three cars behind a private gated drive.

Privacy is paramount on your holiday. Outside, three private gardens enclose the Cottage. To the left is your own private BBQ patio area with views over the west shore and Conwy; to the right, a private lawned garden with summer house and decked patio area looking down into stunning Llandudno bay and town. Mature shrubs and plants enclose this south facing cottage. There is ample seating throughout the gardens to follow the sun all day long. Secure storage facilities also available for bikes and buggies.

Please note that whilst the cottage is all on one level on the very lower slopes of the Great Orme, it might not be appropriate for the less-abled because of its elevated position.

Booking with the proprietor who personally oversees the cottage.

What makes this cottage unique

Uninterrupted 180 degree views of both North and South beaches and the Snowdonia mountain range to the background.

The cottage is in a unique location in the original heart of Llandudno, with the Victorian Tram Station on your doorstep and delightful views of the tram gliding by.

A modern contemporary feel inside - with solid oak farmhouse furniture and solid oak flooring (except to the bedrooms), plasma TV, home cinema system, parking for three cars (a rarity in Llandudno), just a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, whilst being slightly elevated from the bustle and bustle of town. Guests often report they prefer to sit and relax in the grounds of the cottage than in the town itself!

Outside - extensive well kept grounds surround Tram Station Cottage, with a private driveway and gate, a lawn and decking with delightful sea and town views, and of the local Kings Head tavern. A summerhouse ensures fun whatever the weather, South facing patio area with BBQ and views towards the West Shore.

Tram Station Cottage - a perfect location to relax and unwind.

Great New Year holiday 2018

  • 5 of 5

Lovely modern open plan cottage with fab views. A spacious home for family / friend get-togethers. Handy for town shops or hikes up the Orme & across to West Shore.

Beautifully decorated for our New Year holiday with Christmas tree & lights. Julian, the owner, had laid the big table with crackers, wine, flowers, tangerines, choc biscuits which gave it a real wow factor as we arrived. Plus he popped by with bath bombs and delicious Pandoro on NYs Eve. The extra touches made for a really special visit.
