Plus, you can see for miles from the seventh floor balcony bar, yet you still feel close to the beach. Georgia natives Julie and Dean Taylor live in Roswell, GA a suburb of Atlanta. Dean is an actor in movies, TV shows, commercials and corporate films. Julie is a Senior Sales Consultant with Skyline Southeast, a manufacturer and supplier of trade show exhibits and graphics. 'We love getting to our condo on the beach whenever we can because it's a refreshing change from the hills in our neighborhood. Plus it's only 6 hours from Atlanta. Our schedules are hectic so relaxing right on the beach is wonderful getaway from it all. I just wish we could get down more often!'

Why Dean Taylor chose North West Florida

When we sold our 1 bedroom condo in Seacrest on Hwy 30A, we looked at condos up and down the coast all the way to Alabama. We decided on Seachase because of the unique layout of the condo, parallel to the beach. The floor plan allows every room to have a floor to ceiling glass wall looking out to the beach and ocean. They can't afford to build like that anymore! Plus the location is great, close to Pier Park, and it's on the quieter, less congested end of Panama City Beach.

What makes this condo unique

It's a smaller complex (62 units) so we never have to wait on an elevator like the new giant size properties, the access is great because we park directly under the building only steps to the elevator, and the beach is never crowded, we have 600 ft. of beach all to ourselves!

Not thrilled with our experience

The condo was decorated very nice. The airconditioning unit does not cool enough. The bedrooms were pretty warm.The cleaning fee is extremely too much. The condo was not nasty but whomever cleans must just half do their job. Overall is was a nice vacation but will not stay at this one again.

Owner's Response: We regret the renter gave no indication of their dissatisfaction until this review so we had no opportunity to address their concerns. Our cleaning fee is standard for a 1400 s.f. 2 BR condo and our housekeeper has even received compliments (see past reviews). Solarguard Panorama heat reflective window film has been installed in the bedrooms to reduce the radiant heat from the wall to wall windows that while allowing spectacular ocean views can also raise the room temperature on very hot days.

Loved it and will stay again... And again (Pet Friendly!)

WOW! I'm *so* happy I found this condo. The response time from the owners is super fast and they're so easy to work with. The condo is BEAUTIFUL and it's at a quiet part of the beach (at least at the time of the year we rented). I like that it's just short distance from Pier Park. The umbrellas and beach chairs they provide are a fantastic bonus! Our dogs loved laying underneath them inbetween splashes in the ocean. Can't wait until I can make it down to PCB again so I can stay there! True FIVE STAR rating!

This is one of the most beautiful condos that I have ever been in....and the view from the balcony is even more beautiful that I thought it could have been. Even though the weather didn't cooperate that well, we still had a blast! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your home :)

Great place to stay

Clean, well decorated and a closet full of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas. Even a cooler for the beach. Great location and beach not crowded. Corner unit with 3 sliders and 60 feet of glass overlooking the gulf.

Horrible Experience

Don't rent this condo unless you like to sleep in rooms that are 85 degrees! We rent a pet friendly condo for the week of the 4th every year, but this year we were cheated out of a quality vacation. When we arrived, it was hot. We thought it was because the cleaning service had turned the air up. We adjusted it down and went to buy groceries. When we returned, it was still hot. We found box fans in both bedrooms, which let us know the owner knew there was a problem. We finally turned the air way down and were able to cool the living area, but the bedrooms were so uncomfortable my husband had to sleep on the couch. We bought an additional box fan. Additionally, there were only six towels in the entire unit (for five adults, three of whom were ladies). There are also no grills anywhere on the premises, and they are not allowed on the balconies. An owner in another condo had a grill on his balcony and cooked our meat for us on two different nights. I emailed the owner and the property manager. The owner did not answer the email until Tuesday night, and the property manager never returned my call. She did show up on Wednesday with four towels. After talking with multiple owners and another property manager, we learned that the air conditioning problem is an ongoing issue that cannot be repaired - it is a design problem with all the units. Also when we arrived, the floors were so nasty that our feet were black from walking on them. There was mold in one of the showers. I had to buy bleach to mop the floors and kill the mold. We were so unhappy that we left a day early. When we returned home, the owner sent me an email claiming that we were losing most of our security deposit because we "did not leave the unit as we found it" and his cleaning crew had to clean the unit when we left (!!!). He sent pictures of sand on the floor (yes,really...). He also accused us of breaking a coaster and a griddle. Both items were broken when we arrived, but we assumed the cleaning staff knew since they are supposed to check after every guest. We washed all dishes and towels before we left, and I left a message that we were leaving early. I have rented condos at the beach every year for more than 20 years and cabins in the Smoky Mountains twice a year for more than 25 years, and I have never lost a penny for damage to a property, even when my children were small. After going back and forth, I realized that this is a scam by the owner. Beware!

Owner's Response: Unfortunately cleaning above and beyond ordinary service was required after this guest's stay because the unit was left in an unusually messy and dirty condition. When this was brought to their attention they initially denied it saying they "left it as they had found it" until pictures documenting the condition were presented. In 13 years of renting this is only the second time this has occurred. We ask to be notified of any damage upon it's discovery so the guest is not held responsible but this was not done. However, in fairness to the guest they were not charged for all the damage discovered upon their departure. There were six guests and six sets of towels provided. Our housekeeper's contact is provided to all guests for any housekeeping concerns. The only call our housekeeper received was one asking if there was a grill on the property which is not a listed amenity. More towels were brought as soon as we (the owners) were made aware via email while we were traveling with only intermittent online access to emails. The air conditioning is in perfect working order and satisfactory for most all of our guests. However some guests have different expectations as to what is "comfortable" so ceiling and box fans are provided for additional comfort. We strive to provide a good quality and good value rental as reflected by our many 5 star reviews over the years. We regret we could not satisfy the demands of this particular guest.
