Located on West Caroga Lake just an hour west of Saratoga Springs, this 1940's camp has three bedrooms and is just a short walk to the private sandy beach. Fully furnished with all the comforts of home, the property has a fire pit to relax by at night, a grill, plenty of outdoor seating and dining. Caroga Lake is a wonderful lakeside neighborhood filled with quaint home and charming streets. There are two restaurants walking distance from the house and several other just a short drive away. Caroga Lake is excellent for swimming, boating, and fishing, with a sandy beach. A few miles away is the Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course, and many hiking trails. This idyllic Adirondack home is a relaxing and refreshing getaway.
The house has three bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the living room there is a futon couch that will sleep two and the front porch has a twin bed for one. The kitchen is large with modern appliances and a dishwasher. There is a large movie library with two tvs - one upstairs and one downstairs.
I am an artist and photographer living in New York City for over 20 years. As a child, I spent my summers in the Adirondacks and Catskills and the winters in Central Florida. I enjoy traveling, entertaining, and spending time with my family of friends. I look forward to another summer spent at the beach at Caroga Lake and of course, sharing the house with others.

I knew immediately that Caroga Lake was the place for me. With the defunct amusement park, Shermans, and the Nick Stoner Golf Course, the cafes, the hiking trails, the ski resort, Royal Mountain, and that crystal clear adirondack lake, this cozy town in the foot hills of the Southern Adirondacks has everything a life of leisure demands. The town motto "everything burns," refers to the fire pits appoints each home and the smell of burning wood each and every summer night. The house is large with an open floor plan on the first floor that includes the living room, kitchen, and bar area. The second floor has two bedrooms and a semi private family room/bedroom. The decorations are eclectic and welcoming.
Thank you Martha for your kind words about the lake house and me. I'm so glad you and your family had a wonderful vacation in spite of the storm. You were fabulous guests and I hope you'll stay again. Thanks for taking such good care of the house, leaving it so tidy and clean. I would recommend Martha and her family wholeheartedly to any host.
Cozy with quick lake access and views. Convenient location to enjoy hiking and the general area. Pictures were accurate and Kelly was very helpful, attentive and responsive. The kids loved exploring the old carousel.
This vacation was a first for me and my family as far as renting a property to stay at. We have always stayed in hotels so I didn't know what to expect. This house was great. Very welcoming and cozy. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a small storm that left everyone on the lake with out power and Kelly the home was going to drive 1hr 1/2 to make sure we were ok. The house is right next to the lake which was nice and everyone in the area was extremely nice. If you ever want to get away and want to stay in a cozy house instead of a hotel please contact Kelly you won't be disappointed.
