Beautiful and tranquil
My family and I truly loved our stay here. Despite the rain & chill, relaxing on the screened porch was our favorite spot and we even enjoyed a nice campfire one night. I am sure we will be back.
character and personality abound!!
The pictures do not do this place justice. You truly have to see and experience the wonder that has been put together in this cute little paradise nestled away on a spectacular lot!! We stayed in November - I can only imagine how beautiful this will look come spring when the gardens are in bloom. Well stocked and very well cared for. Can not wait to book again! A true hidden paradise...The owners are very responsive and very proactive - they have thought of everything. A great spot for the family to come together to make memories that will be treasured..
Amazing Place (even for motorcyclists)
Mary, just wanted to thank you for sharing your incredible home and lakefront property with us, and the more than expected hospitality as it related to kayaks, paddle boards, fishing poles, towels, coffee, etc. While I am sure that most people come to hang on the lake, my brothers, nephew, and I came to area for 2 days of hard motorcycle riding, including the infamous Tail of the Dragon. Our targeted rides were only about 30 minutes from the house, which enabled us to ride 175 miles per day, and then come back and sit on the dock each night to relax. We will be back...and again, can't say enough great things about this home and Mary.
Wonderful family getaway spot
This is our second stay at the Geranium House on Fort Loudon Lake. We were there with our son, his wife and their 3 boys. The house accomodated us wonderfully. Everything we needed was easily available. The home is well and creatively decorated and the boys had so much to do. Kayaks, paddle boards, and a float were available. We roasted marshmallows by the water and watched the sun go down. We spent the evenings on the screened porch listening to our grandson play his guitar. A great family spot!
Great family vacation
We loved our stay on Lake Loudon in Louisville, TN! We had family members from South Carolina, Michigan, Connecticut, and California all get together for a wonderful week at the lake. We loved the view of the lake from the cottage and screened porch. We fished from the dock, took out the kayaks a couple of times, played a little croquet, made hobo pies in the fire pit. So much to see and do. Mary has everything you can imagine covered. It was nice to have plenty of dishes for our group of eight and a big family table to enjoy meals together. Every bed in the house and even on the porch were so comfortable, everyone slept very well. My in-laws are in their mid 80's, they appreciated the flat yard to the dock as well as the screened porch for watching activities. The guys golfed one day while the ladies went to the Outlet Mall. Great vacation!
charming cottage with rustic decor and lots of personality.
Hot Weather is better at Lakeside with peaceful mornings, comfortable surroundings, and beautiful sunsets! We recommend it .
