The most important part of what I offer is a clean, beautiful and friendly refuge while you are visiting this great city! :)
My husband and I stayed here and enjoyed the small space. The directions instructions on getting to the location and into the room were very clear. We got there at night and it was easy to figure out in the well lit space. The owner was quick to respond to questions we had even though we later found that instructions for locking the door were clearly printed on the sign on the wall.
The bed and bedding could use an upgrade, but the overall location and space was great!
Overall we had a great time.
When I arrived at the property I followed the directions which had been texted and emailed to me which contained the code to find the keybox were I could find the key to let me into my room. This all went well, except the actual doors are not numbered and there was vague description of which door it would be. So, if the key fits the lock you would think it is the right room, right? Except when we opened the door it was clearly not the room we had rented. So, after a long and busy day we were unable to unpack our bags because we were not sure what was happening with the room. We called the number for customer service and texted, and didn't hear back for nearly 30 minutes. When we finally received a reply to our text, it said, "At lunch, can I call you in 30 minutes?" We only had jut over an hour of time planned from the time we arrived to unpack and get ready to leave again, so waiting another 30 minutes was not going to work. We asked if they could call immediately, and several minutes later we finally received a call. The customer service person told us that indeed there had been a booking mix up and our room had been changed, with out tell us! So, we were in the room they had for us, just not the room we had rented. The room we rented had a queen bed, and this one only had a double bed, as well as a few other differences. When we tried to explain how inconvenient it was for us NOT to be NOTIFIED that our room HAD BEEN CHANGED WITHOUT UPDATING US, the customer service rep stated, "That there was a long waiting list for our room, and if we didn't like it we were welcome to put the keys on the counter and leave."
So, we were inconvenienced out of an hour of time during which we were totally unsure what was happening when we needed to quickly unpack and get ready to leave, given a room that didn't really meet our needs, and treated rather poorly overall.
When were repeatedly told that this room, "Had a higher star rating, and was generally more preferred by guests" the people running the place simply could not understand that this was NOT THE POINT. The point was that we were not notified and then treated poorly. Needless to say other guests were in the same situation. And, when I followed the next week to report that it took so long to get any answers I was told, "Sorry, we were at a funeral", really, that's what they said.
I would recommend booking this property with some hesitation until they get a decent property manager.
