Shenstone House is a beautiful period property with 4 beds located on a main road in Newquay. The house is perfect for families, with generous living space for six adults and two children. The property offers parking for 5 vehicles at any time, still leaving plenty of room for fun in the spacious rear garden. There is rear access at the property onto an enclosed playing field.
Upstairs there is a there is a master bedroom with king sized bed, ensuite, double wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables.

The third bedroom has a small double bed, bedside tables and a chest of drawers.
The fourth bedroom has a set of 'shorty' bunks suitable for children under 10 and built in cupboards.
There is also a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
Downstairs there is a spacious kitchen / diner with seating for 8, utility room and a light and airy lounge with open fire and a utility room.
Shenstone House is just 10 mins walk from 4 stunning beaches. (Whipsiderry, Lusty, Porth and Tolcarne). A short cliff top walk into town across the Barrowfields and only a 2 mins walk to the local shops at Chester Road.
Porth beach is just a 2 minute car journey and would make the perfect setting for a children’s adventure story. Its long tidal drop makes it popular with families with loads of space for children to play and build sandcastles, and when the tide drops it reveals an abundance of rock pools full of amazing sea life. Parking is available right on the beach!
Coastal walking is very popular in Porth with paths linking east to Watergate Bay and west to Lusty Glaze and Newquay town centre. Porth Island to the east of the beach, accessed by a narrow footbridge, is a spectacular spot for photography and storm watching in the winter. At the end of the island is a blow hole visible at mid tide, especially on windy days.
Say the word Fistral to any avid surfer and you can guarantee their eyes will widen in awe. As one of the world’s top surfing destinations, backed by high cliffs and sand dunes, Fistral is the playground for hundreds of enthusiasts who flock to the beach to get a fix of the big waves. All the big UK surf competitions take place here including Boardmasters, the Quicksilver Skins, the UK Pro Surf Tour and the BUSA Championships so if you’re a gung-ho pro or a just a timid beginner, this is the ideal place for you to show off or take your first tentative dip in the ocean. The beach is no more than 3 miles away and Bodhi's Beach Cafe offers a range of drinks and snacks throughout the main holiday season should you fancy some light refreshments.
The River Gannel is on our doorstep which is idyllic for waterside walks, bird watching and paddle boarding. Shestone House is also a great central location for accessing a number of Cornwall’s best tourist attractions, including the Eden Project, the cathedral town of Truro, St Michael's Mount and the stunning harbour towns of St Ives and Padstow.
