Unfortunately with this wonderful property being located in the historic district does not allow us to rent out on short term basis. HOWEVER, PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT OUR PROPERTY ON 86 ST. FRANCIS STREET, JUST BLOCKS OVER AND IN HISTORIC LINCOLNVILLE. SAME HIGH STANDARD as you will find in these reviews.

The exterior of this historic building was brought back to its original look. The interior of the 2nd floor apartment has been tastefully decorated to match the style of the time, but with all the modern conveniences necessary to be comfortable. new beds, wi-fi, cable tv, 2 flat screen tv's, 2 parking spots in the back and with unmetered street parking as well, full bath, and washer/dryer is just some of what it has to offer. The fully equipped kitchen has all new appliances and everything you need to try out some local ingredients.

Located in the heart of the historic district, attractions, shopping and restaurants are plenty full within a half mile walking distance. The area has a festive atmosphere all year long and especially at holiday time.

As you relax on the balcony horse drawn carriages and trolleys come by frequently, you will feel that history comes alive when you stay at this amazing house.

Should you choose to wander the tree lined streets of the historic district, to enjoy the fresh sea breeze along the bay front or to discover the shops of st. George street, your options for an afternoon stroll are endless. If your feet tire, trolleys, taxis and pedicabs are always nearby to carry you home.

Wonderful sandy beaches are only 5 miles away and options for rental of kayaks, paddle boards, small sailboats or jetski's are nearby.

We have been fortunate and had the opportunity to live in in many different places throughout the US and overseas, but keep coming back to Florida as our preferred place to be.

Why Kirsten Skjerning chose St. Augustine

A Wonderful home. It has a lot of history and built in brick it is solid structure constructed in high quality materials, still with the original Oak and Florida pine hardwood floors as well as original tile in the bathrooms.

The large size of the apartments and property is somewhat unusual and was attractive for us as we were looking at various properties.

St. Augustine has a festive atmosphere and is full of happy vacationers which we really like, but for us the possibility for an active lifestyle with ample opportunity to walk and bike safely all over the city has been the greatest incentive to purchase a home in this area.

Truly Amazing - We had the BEST time!!!

Thanks you so much for allowing us to stay, it was truly an amazing experience!! So close to everything, we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and then some!! And yet it was just far enough away to allow us to spend our evenings relaxing on the deck with friends enjoying the evening breeze. The apartment was immaculate, and the appliances were sparkling clean and new. The full size washer and dryer come in so handy, especially on a beach vacation. And everything we needed was there, thanks for taking the time to think of the details. It is obvious that you take pride in your unit and care about your guests comfort. I loved the neighborhood, all the homes around us were lovely and everyone was so friendly. We wish we could stay here year round!! The internet is very fast and there is off street parking so you don't have to worry. But with everything being so close we didn't even notice that we didn't have to worry about parking. It felt like home! Thanks again and we will definitely be back!!

This condo could not have been more perfect; location, amenities, condition, absolutely a bargain for what you get. We were fortunate enough to be able to rent this beautiful condo for two months and when it was time to leave, it was hard to say good-bye to the place.

Firstly, when you visit St. Augustine, you are visiting an historic city. There is nothing like staying in a place which is historic too complementing the whole experience of enjoying SA to make you feel like royalty. The owners have painstakingly preserved much of the original charm with the upgrades...the floors are the original wood floors, the cupboards in the kitchen are too, including the door pulls. The furniture selected is period furniture with a tastefully designed interior.

But the mod-cons are all there. Super fast WI-FI, huge 52" television, another TV in the bedroom, a simply beautiful bathroom that I swore was marble until Kirsten corrected me, and a FULL SIZE washer/dryer. I enjoyed catching up with my emails sitting out on the porch that stretched the whole width of the condo. The view was pretty great too! They even thought of umbrellas in case it rains! There is also off street parking at this condo which is extremely rare in SA and can get expensive if you don't have that option.

The beach is a short 10 minute drive away and stretches south for about 20 miles, or you can explore others such as Ponte Vedra which is about 20 minutes and worth the drive.

A few blocks away is the city center with winding streets, some closed to traffic, some only wide enough for one very small car. A real trip. There is a gazebo in the commons with a free concert every Thursday night.

There are two restaurants that we recommend. We are chefs, so you can take our word they are good. One is Cellar 6 (the chef is from Food Network) and The Floridian. They are both within walking distance. If you are looking for the best scones or a slice of cheesecake or other dessert delights plus GOOD coffee, next door to the Floridian is The Chocolate Turtle. The kitchen is upstairs where all these incredible creations are created. Fresh, fresh, fresh. They even make their own clotted cream. Yum.

During our stay in St. Augustine we stay downtown and on the beach. Staying downtown was definitely better and more practical if you want a varied vacation. After all, you can do only so much sand and sun.

An extended vacation stay at 165 Cordova Street will be a vacation you will never forget.

Location, location, location! Right in the historic district. Great to park the car and no need to drive to local attractions and night life. So close to everything; but so quiet at the same time.

Apartment was so clean, we thought we were at home! Offered every convenience we wanted away from home. The living room furniture is new and sits great! Dining room was a nice feature as well. Loved the big, flat screen TVs. Bedrooms and bath are well done and comfortable. Bathroom even included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! Stacked washer and dryer, in the apartment, saved us time. Lots of windows gave great natural light. Kitchen setup worked well for us, too.

Great to see the original architecture was kept in this remodeled home.

Relaxing on the balcony offered great people watching and was well shaded, not too hot.

Perfect vacation rental for us! We will be back.
