Advertised for the first time this year this modern and comfortable one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with communal pool is located in the Arenal Beach, Javea on the Costa Blanca Spain. Comfortably sleeps 2 but can accommodate up to 4 people with a bed settee in the lounge.

The apartment is situated in peaceful surroundings in a residential beach area and yet only a 6 minute walk (500m) to the beautiful blue flag sandy El Arenal beach of Javea with all it's bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, tennis courts and water sport activities. The apartment is ideally hidden off the main strip however, has the beauty of being near to everything you may need for a perfect holiday. It is a real gem.

This superb, bright, light, spacious and modern apartment is on the ground floor of the sort after Altamar 4 Complex, built to a very high standard with communal pool which has a beach style sloped entrance and separate children's pool. It has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and it is furnished to a very comfortable standard. The accommodation offers a beautiful lawned garden with gravel, indigenous plants and trees a a beautiful lagoon shaped communal pool with beach style entrance and separate children's pool. It has coconut shades to protect you from the hot summer sun.

It has a spacious entrance hall with intercom entry system, fully fitted and well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and dining room with TV and free WIFI. Double doors open from the lounge onto onto a very large and private terrace. There is a spacious master bedroom with ample wardrobe space and doors onto the terrace, a separate bathroom with bath and shower. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge that sleeps 2 people for additional guests.

This apartment has air- conditioning throughout. It is in a prime location for access to the Arenal beach with restaurants, bars, supermarkets, a post office, a chemist, several banks and shops.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE JAVEA MONTGO ROCK FESTIVAL IS ON THE 11TH AND 12TH MAY 2018 AND THIS APARTMENT IS VERY CLOSE TO THE SITE. THIS IS FABULOUS IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND BUT YOU MAY WISH TO AVOID THE AREA IF YOU DO NOT LIKE ROCK!!

The Arenal beach has sun beds, coconut umbrellas, volley ball nets, children's climbing frames, children's parks and football goal posts. There is an array of activities available from the beach including jet ski hire, boat hire, pedalos, canoes and paddle boarding. The beach is suburb for children as it is shallow for quite away when initially entering the water. In the summer there are artisan market stalls at night so it is lovely to wander along the sea-front browsing the stalls or to sit in a bar or restaurant and "people watch".

Once you are in Javea a car is not essential. The Arenal beach is a 6 minute walk away (500m), and the port of Javea a 30 minute walk away. The walk to the port is stunning alongside the Mediterranean sea with all the "Chiringuito" beach bars in the summer.

The old town of Javea, steeped in history, has white washed buildings, quaint cobbled streets, boutique shops, tapas bars and a weekly market. It is a 10 minute drive or a 30 minute walk for the enthusiast. Alternatively there is a regular bus service that runs in a constant circular route from the Arenal Beach to Javea Port and then to the Old Town. ( Every half hour in peak season, every hour out of season). Javea has an excellent taxi service.

Fiestas in Javea begin in June and continue throughout the summer months.

Nearby areas of interest & tourist attractions: The beautiful historic village of Guadalest set in the mountains is a place not to be missed by the visitor along with the 'Waterfalls of Algar'. Other nearby towns include Moraira, with spectacular Coastlines and varied entertainment, sandy beach with fresh water stream and rock pools, Denia with its large port offering daily trips to the Balearic Islands, Calpe with its legendary 'Calpe Rock', jutting out of the sea, Benissa, Teulada and Gata de Gorgos with its traditional basket ware and gift shops.

Javea is less than one hours drive by car from Benidorm, which has many attractions for all ages including 'Mundomar' an animal water park, 'Aqualandia' a themed swimming park and 'Terra Mitica' a large fun park, boasting some of the largest rides in Europe.

For the golf enthusiast: The apartment is ideally situated for those guests who enjoy a relaxing round of Golf. Javea has its own Club de Golf Javea with 9 holes and there is also Club de Golf Ifach Moraira again with 9 holes. Further away there is Club de Golf La Sella in Denia with 18 holes and the famous Seve Ballesteros Club de Golf Oliva again with 18 Holes.

Great stay, just what we needed

We spend a week at the apartment with our 7 year old son and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We drove from Alicante airport and we had no problem finding the place. The directions from Jacqui were very clear. The gated appartment was very secure and comfortable (lovely bedding!). Everything is very clean and of good quality. Walking distance from the main beach and restaurants. The folder with all instructions was very useful especially the places worth visiting round Javea like The Granadalla beach! We have been to the area before but never heard of that beautiful unspoilt beach. Jacqui was at the end of the phone if we needed anything. We would definetely stay there again and recommend the apartment to our friends.

Surprising spacious one bed apartment!

Great apartment for a quick get away with my husband and two boys. Clean and tidy.

Lovely terraced area to relax, situated on an impressive, modern complex, close to everything you need. Javea is a beautiful place to visit and we will certainly be going back.

Lovely modern apartment in a great location

My husband and I have just stayed at this gorgeous spacious apartment which is close to the stunning Arenal beach. We both love Javea and have visited many times before however we have never stayed in Altamar 4. When I saw the spec of this property and where it was located I couldn't resist to stay there and I was not disappointed. The grounds and pool are really well maintained and the under ground parking is a bonus. Thanks to Home and Away, great holiday!!!!

Lovely apartment

We have holidayed in Javea many times but never at Altamar 4. We would not hesitate to come again ! Apartment in excellent location easy walking distance from both the Arenal and Port was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Pool area was very nice too.

Jacqui was on hand to answer any queries. All in all an excellent stay
