A beautiful 4 bed home with major access routes into central London

We have poured our heart and soles into refurbishing our London home last year and turning it into a fabulous slice of 4 bed heaven for you and your guests to relax in comfort while you enjoy all the sites around London city while using the Catford train links to London Bridge and Charing Cross.

The open plan House is built over three levels, ground floor, first floor and the top second floor.

We've recently added the new top floor to the building which offers you lovely wooden oak floors and an exposed original pointed brick wall throughout the one side of the property.

The result is modern features throughout, lovely decor, new blinds and a relaxing garden to put your feet up and barbecue if you have the inclination. Our heating system is automated which keeps the house at a comfortable optimal temperature both in winter or summer. We also have satellite TV with a host of movie and sports channels for those who like that type of entertainment.

Perfect for tourists, business people or families coming to visit the English capital.

We are also located near shopping and local amenities and hence you can get all your supplies easily on your return daily activities.

Notes:
There are some great sights in the local area, like the famous Catford Constitution Club which is a short walk away as well as the Ladywell Fields. Greenwich is a bus ride away or if you feel like walking to the Lewisham DLR train (22 minutes walk) you can get to the Cutty Sark in 5-10 minutes on the train. There are two main train stations nearby i.e. Catford Bridge and Catford station, with trains regularly going to London Bridge, Waterloo, St Pancras, Charing Cross stations, which gets you to the heart of London.

We've stopped here since October 2017. Great place to stay! Amazing property! Brilliant landlords that cannot do enough to help out. Definitely recommend.

Quiet neighborhood & comfortable house with convenient access to the city

We stayed in this beautifully decorated house for five nights during late December. The house was very comfortable for us (we live in the US) and it provided us with ample space to gather around in the living room and dining area for long evenings and nights of conversation. The kitchen was fully equipped with kitchen utensils that we needed for warming dinner, preparing breakfast, and serving it so we could stay in the cozy house during the colder periods while going out during the day to enjoy what the city of London had to offer. The bedrooms were very spacious for our needs. Bathrooms and bedrooms had all new fittings. Functionally it was perfect!

Locationwise, it is in a quiet neighborhood a little far from the city center, and thus, it requires a little more commute to reach the city center. But all public transportation is closeby within very short walking distance! You do not need a car at all.

The house is multi-storied, so it may not be suitable for elderly people (my mother had difficulty with the stairs) who have difficulty climbing stairs to reach the bedrooms. However, the stairs are all nicely carpeted with hand railings. There's plenty of privacy from bedroom to bedroom since they are nicely separated from each other. The master bedroom does not have an attached bathroom, though.

The backyard reachable from the kitchen is a nice addition to the property, and I can see it being used in the warmer months of the year. We did not use it.

Our two families had children and the children loved it! I highly recommend it for families.

Is a very old old building and was abandoned for over 20 years, but now has had new beginning through the community-favourite Antic London from the hugely popular Catford Bridge Tavern (award-winning South-East London CAMRA Pub of the Year 2013 & Cider Pub of the Year 2013).

It offers a rotating cider and ale Menu together with a full complement of wines, spirits and liqueurs, and a great restaurant.
